Re: 2012 LEGO Dino (January)

I know that this thread has been very dead for a long while but I wasn't in the mood to make a new thread. I was surfing around YouTube today and I found out that Jurassic Park IV is coming out next year. Which has me thinking...could Dino attack be a transition theme into Jurassic Park? I remember ...

Re: LEGO Galaxy Squad 2013

I actually think I might get multiples of the swarm interceptor set. If you look at the cockpit canopy, there is a hinge to it, which I think is new?!?!? and It is been a while since we have seen a decent star-fighter 'starter kit'. $25 is a bit steep but I can wait for a toys r'us 20% off sale. =D ...

Re: LEGO Cuusoo Western Town Modular Buildings

Western was always a decent product line and will be easy to reproduce. There are already a number of existing molds. It can be used in modular builds. The popularity of the bandits and cowboys in the collectable mini-fig series mean that kids may want a line for it. Set concepts can be extrapolated...

Re: LEGO Store Grand Opening Celebrations (TN, NY, BC, WI)

Yupe...Oakridge was a huge line-up. While I was still outside when the store announced that the promo sets were all gone, I did manage to get one of those R2-D2 commemorative duplo blocks, which I thought was an okay consolation prize. I wasted 4 hours but I got to talk with some nice people and was...

Re: New York Toy Fair 2012 - LEGO Prices & More Pics from FB

In terms of LOTR, Lego has made a common move to increase its profits. In the last few years, we have seen licensed themes to replace original themes. The first example I know of is Star Wars, which replaced space to some degree. Then POC for last year that replaced pirates. Now it is LOTR for castl...

Re: LEGO Cuusoo Western Town Modular Buildings

After many weeks on the back burner, I finally voted for the set on Cuusoo. I encourage all to vote. It has been stuck at 3000's for a week. Even the Back to the future car is beating it.

Vote people vote!

Re: 2011 LEGO Kingdoms

Has anyone bought the Blacksmith attack? I got one and the mini-fig quality for the Dragon Knight was a bit low. The ABS was almost as low as the collectable mini-fig plastic and the stud on the head didn't have the three small holes. Is this a problem for any of you?

I know that "Creations for Charity" is an American thing.
I was wondering if a Canadian version of this fundraiser is potential.

the bubble window for some reason doesn't really sit well with me.

is it because the roundness protrudes out of the pod or maybe it isn't closer properly.

hopefully, ADU will have a base of some sort similar to the second wave of Space Police. and the aliens to have an orbital space outpost (similar to but not as lame as Squidman's pit-stop) and maybe able to transform into a ground tower.?? I know that the aliens already are pretty much done with veh...

yeah...they all have the same body structure. The only unique thing about this particular dragon as pointed out is the size. What I am excited about is the Earth dragon. It's good for a dinosaur or space MOC.

Re: 2011 LEGO Alien Conquest

How good will Alien conquest be?
The sets look quite good but how does it compare to Atlantis, Space Police III or Power Miners.
Do you think it has enough juice to propel it into 2 or even 3 years?

Re: 2011 LEGO Kingdoms

i hope that their roofs are that deep green. If the lions castles are red, then they should be deep green. What would be really neat is for the dragon knights to have a fort in the forest sort of thing like the Viking fort supplemented with a few stone towers incorporated. It would be a better contr...
