I went to the lego store today. You can use the pieces from pick a model to fill up your cup. You cannot use just 1 piece to fill your entire cup as no one will be able to build the model anymore, if that piece runs out soon. I was about to order for more than $75, but looks like free shipping cannot be combined with other offers so if you use 50% off BOGO, shipping is not free no matter how much you buy

it is $100 now.

I never fill lego cups with pieces that are too big as this consumes lot of space and gives you less items to play, work with. best once are tiles, plates, doors, windows, 1xX bricks. Never 2xX bricks.

I have one, I agree that its very well built and looks very impressive, but from a kids point of view the playability is next to 0, its slightly heavy for a kid to carry and pretend he is flying it, only thing he can do is turn it around on its wheels. if you can wait its best to get these sets when they have double or tripple point promotions that way it will be 20 to 30 bucks cheaper
