They weren't offering the extra piece - instead we were told it's a generic piece available in almost any set.

Re: TRU LEGO Building Event February 8, 2014

My TRU still had a healthy stock of parts at 12:30 and a steady stream of traffic.

There was a second TLM build event at BAM!from 2-4. Unfortunately, all the polybags were spoken for by 1:30 (!) so we missed out and headed over to the theater instead only to be turned away there, too. Sold out. :(

Re: Walmart LEGO Clearance - day after Christmas?

Impressive you were able to hit three! It's about 15 miles between each, but at 6am there's no traffic, and I happened to be up early. Of course, this is the year I decided to hit the Walmart that was furthest away first, as they typically have much more stock, so could have saved myself some miles...

Re: Walmart LEGO Clearance - day after Christmas?

I hit three this morning and... nothing. Quite disappointing. :(

LEGO shelves were almost bare in all three, so I wouldn't have had much of a selection anyway.

From experience, these types of sales do stack with their regular $5 off $25 coupons, with an additional 10% discount for Millionaire's Club members.

BAM! LEGO Build Event, Sep 28

The promo email was light on details, but BAM! appears to be having a chain-wide build event today at 2pm.

Vaughan Mills/Toronto LEGOLAND Discovery Centre

I'll be in Toronto next month, and was thinking of visiting the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre . I'll have some kids in tow, so don't expect to be turned away for being unaccompanied by a minor, but was wondering if anyone else has been, and has tips/recommendations for making the most of my visit? Is 2-...

Anyone know what Walmart's policy is for items that you've bought at full price but which go on clearance within the return window? Will they refund the difference?

Definitely seems to be a smaller selection on sale this year, but Dino and older SW were ~50% here in So. Maine.

5884 Raptor Chase $14.50
5883 Tower Takedown $9.50
7929 Battle of Naboo $12.00

Re: In store at Books a million some sets @ 50% off

I'm curious if you need their store membership to get this price? I've noticed lego with 40% stickers before but you had to have their yearly membership to get the extra --% off. No, the membership gets you an additional 10% off, so something that has a 50% sticker becomes 55% for members, 40% beco...
