Re: Collectable Minifigure blind pack weights

This is a great idea! Any suggestions on portable scales that are that precise?

Re: Steal of a Deal / Recent LEGO Purchases

Found a near pristine 9465 (MF The Zombies) just sitting on the shelf at Target. Of course it wasn't in the system, and the first young lady at customer service told me she could price match Amazon at $120 or ToyWiz at $249, since they had nothing but my word that it retailed for $39.99 originally a...

Re: TRU lowers some clearance prices

Just picked up the ninjago mechdragon for 19.98. Just did the same, and was coming to let folks know, so I can confirm. It's still listed at $39 online, and using the inventory checker it shows the store I went to has no stock (they had several left), so if near a TRU might be worth a look. I was t...

Re: Target winter clearance

I went to three different Targets to see what I could find. Joker Steamroller, Spiderman Helicopter Rescue, and X-men Sentinel were the only Superheroes sets on clearance at any of them (15-30% off depending on store. The xmen at 15% is $42.98 - so 2 dollars less than their online/pick up in store p...

Re: LEGO The Hulk Buster Smash 76031 Set: Official Age of Ul

Best Hulk set yet! What is that clear piece in the bottom left corner? A "Super Jumper". You place a minifig onto it (with some difficulty if you don't depress it first), then depress, release and the minifig "jumps". Some folks on Eurobricks complained it actually damaged leg p...

Re: 2015 DC Superheroes @ Target

Someone on Eurobricks pointed this out... The Green Lantern/Sinestro set is showing online at Target.com priced $12.99. http://www.target.com/s?searchTerm=lego+green+lantern&category=0%7CAll%7Cmatchallpartial%7Call+categories&lnk=snav_sbox_lego+green+lantern They are sold out online - and no...

Has anyone who ordered the set online had it ship yet?

Mine is still at "Order Created" (since early Sunday morning, so 36 hours or so at time of this post).

Re: YOYO.com

Wow it's been a while since I shopped there! I just went to see if a few sets were in stock to use with this promo (thanks for the heads up, btw), and discovered their prices are marked up  When did they start doing this? I mean NOTHING seems to at (or below) retail, even if the mark up is on...

Re: McFarlane Toys getting into the brick building market

I'm going to make a prediction...5-10 years from now we will be saying these were the sets that started the "more realistic" building brick waves of sets. It seems obvious there will be other companies who copy cat this type of style that is targeted more at older kids and adults. I think...

Bumping this instead of making a new post (this was last month) but it's back in stock at Walmart and Amazon and still $16.00 at both for anyone that missed out before :)

Re: [USA] ToysRUs 20% off Regular & Sale Price Purchase

I've been pretty vocal about TRU and their price shenanigans for some time; but I am surprised (genuinely) that latest wave of super hero sets have been marked up a mere $2. (As opposed to $40 sets marked up to $70 and "slashed" back down to $60 or $65) ... While I agree that the price in...

Re: Game of Thrones - custom minifigs (by Citizen Brick)

These are sorta neat, except they messed up Drogo; he should be that nougat or whatever color the "in between" flesh is officially called. Weird to custom print and get something that simple inaccurate. As for the price, yep it's pricey. Way over what I would pay, but I'm sure there's some...
