Re: Giveaway: LEGO Friends Brickmaster & Ultimate Sticker Co

I like Mia because she is full of energy, wears pants, loves animals and has a bit of prankster (magician). She strikes me as fun and compassionate. My favorite set is Olivia's treehouse. No boys are allowed. It shows that girls can be outdoorsy and have fun.

Re: TRU Friends Event March 23rd

Wow! The keychain is really nice. Anyone grab an extra? We only got one. There are some on Ebay already. I never have the nerve to ask for extra sets. If there is really no one there I sometimes say, "can I have one for my niece?" I do have a niece, but I keep it for myself  I've ne...

Brick fair in Birmingham

Anyone else going? The hotel seems steep at $100 a night but I don't really want to be away from the action. Where do most fans stay?

Re: Pick a Brick is actually a good deal!

Insane! 32 horses? Btw, doesn't the lid in the large cup in the middle have to touch the cup itself? The store made me open up my cup and repack the pieces since the edges weren't touching. :( Nope, my lids didn't have to touch. I was also there for 6 hours packing and hanging out in the store. Sta...

Re: Your hobbies, other than LEGO

I am a car seat technician as a passion (ie. no compensation or work related), I enjoy crafts and "fixing" things. All my friends come to me when they need an idea or hack for something. I have 2 kids, an older daschund, and a 6 month old daschund. I usually will spend 2 hours a day doing ...

I also think that Lego thinks that it would be a fail. I would think that while "we" want it, it would ultimately go the way the farm did. I would love to have a non conflict set.

Re: QUestion about Overland Park, KS Lego store

So you are the one that got all the grab bag. I live close to the store and been there plenty of times. Never saw any grab bag. They get their shipment in a bit late on some stuff and usually runs out the popular stuff fast. The managements are very helpful. The best item there were on Pab wall wer...

I got many lotr urki hai minis, lots from the new out post sets, a few from collectible mini figs and lots of random pieces. I also got quite a few smaller animals like the hedge hog, rabbit and Ninjago creatures.
