Re: [USA] Toysrus 2 day lego sale

I think to clarify, the prices are TRU prices. Set 7626, Jungle Cutter MSRP is $39.99. A true %50 off would be $19.99. I'm very suspect of TRU numbers.

LegoSet.Net SCAM!!!

There is someone posting on Craigslist advertising Lego sets for sale at 30% off with free shipping. This is most definitely a scam. The site goes by LegoToy.Net or LegoSet.Net. A friend of mine checked it out and believes the site originates from China. They are listing tons of desirable sets on CL...

The LEGO Experience of Your Dreams

For those who have an extra $20,000 to throw around. FAO Schwarz is holding a charity auction. The prize is an ultimate Lego experience where you get to go to the Mothership in Billund and get the grand tour of EVERYTHING. You get to hang with Lego Designers and master builders and stuff. Truly awes...

Re: Idea for a Lego Part

I'm hoping to convince one of the third party outfits who make custom Lego pieces to consider making the wings. Or maybe Lego would consider adding to their castle line. It would definitely fit with fantasy themed stuff. Maybe a Greek Gods line of Lego... that would be cool.

Re: Lego Batman outrageous prices !

Lego opted to drop the Bat Man License because the recent movies were increasingly dark and grim. They felt t didn't coincide with the target demo of the toy line. As of now, it doesn't appear as if there will be any new Bat Man sets. However, Time Warner recently acquired Travelers Tale, the makers...

Re: NEWS - LEGO Universe screenshots revealed

While I'm a huge Lego fan, the thought of having to pay a subscription to interact with a bunch of 10 year olds doesn't really appeal to me. I belong to the Brick~Busters! Group on FLickr, and we've spent the last 6 months or so busting little kids who swipe Mocs from AFOLs and post them on the Lego...

1) Not a bird. Bandana.

2) Regular bricks, not Duplo. Just a close up picture.

3) Didn't win.

Re: LEGO S@H and paypal

LDD is designed for people to design their own sets and actually buy them from Lego. This sort of custom order is an extremely complicated and expensive thing for Lego to do. While they have been steadily adding to the parts set on LDD over the years, it is simply impractical to make EVERY piece ava...

Re: Where do you store your lego ?

In a corner in our living room, we have an entire bookshelf dedicated to sorted tubs of Lego. We don't really keep sets together for display.

Re: LEGOLand 2010 LEGO Collectible Minifigures

Presumably, you'd have to get them at Legoland, if they ever truly become available. Somehow I have my doubts, but I dig them. I really like the zombie. An official Lego zombie would be all kinds of awesome.

Not a deal

I thought this might be someplace to post a pet peeve of mine. I see Craigslist ads for used Lego sets for more than retail! Often I'll see a set listed for full retail on Craigslist but is on clearance at the Lego store for 50% off. I wonder if anyone is stupid enough to buy these from these people...

The Lego ones only come in black and dark gray. Plus I don't think they look quite right.

Idea for a Lego Part

I had an idea for a new Lego part. Lego Wings!! I was looking at the trans fluorescent orange dragon wings and was wondering why Lego hadn't yet made large bird like wings. It can be used to make horses into pegasus or angels or other winged creatures. Just add it to the wish list. It should come in...
