Re: LEGO 2013 SDCC Bag End Instructions
yay! if anything the exclusives should be brick-built that way there's some opportunity for others to have them through a little shuffling in the bins. :)

Re: LEGO 76004 76000 Superheroes 2013 Sets
LOVE THESE. medium price point, fun stuff. heck, these strike me as more appealing than say, a Quinjet. There's different elements to each set instead one big clunky 'thing'. Three figures is a great amount too, they can include two featured characters and always some new random one (Aquaman!!!). Fi...

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Sneak Peak at Rockefeller Ce
I personally think you writer be better off trading it asap... Unlike bizarro and other rare figs, krang in a different version is in a set which will naturally cause the price to be lower due to alternatives which the marvel giveaways don't have. My degree is in economics if that means anything =)...

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Sneak Peak at Rockefeller Ce
Wow the prices on these are crazy - I think I'm good with waiting for just the normal set figs on this one. It's weird though. So many people put them up for bidding starting at $300 and none have really sold. I've been keeping an eye on it and most have expired. The only success was a guy selling ...

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Sneak Peak at Rockefeller Ce
Honestly, I don't know - but I feel like if it was to be given out at NYCC like the figures you mentioned, then yeah - I could see that being all of them. But since it was given out at the store, I feel like it's a different type of promo. I could be wrong, of course. admiralheinrich - how was the ...

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Sneak Peak at Rockefeller Ce
Went to the Lego Store, saw kids in masks/bandanas, made a pretty decent TMNT mask along with a friend and we made a day of it. Got Krang, had fun, joked around with kids. After all it's about fun.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Sneak Peak at Rockefeller Ce
AFOLs aside, I like that this could easily be acquired by kids dressed in turtle costumes. I think we forget that the ones most shortchanged out of these rare figs are kids and I'm sure we all know how having a different or unique toy can really entertain a kid. Some of us may cringe at the idea of ...

That purple torso is included in the much cheaper yet fun 4625 Pink Brick Box.Brick & Blue wrote:Way too expensive, but it looks nice in shape. Don't like the color.
The new minifigure torsos are awesome. Love that purple one.

Re: [USA] Target 30201 Monster Fighters Ghost polybag
TO ALL WHO ARE HAVING TROUBLE FINDING THE GHOST SET 1. Physically go to your local target. 2. Ask any of the people working in the toy section or near the back room doors. 3. HAVE THE DCPI NUMBER 4. Be super nice. They initially said they didn't have it, then said to check next week as it would be o...

Re: The LEGO Story
No one else found the dialogue really stilted and almost humorously awkward? "things can't get worse" "then his wife died" "but he was special" ...and the number of times they said "system" in that one scene. That was a bit amusing. A good history lesson for s...
