Re: Target clearance Winter 2016/2017
I picked up 3 King Pig's Castle's at 50% yesterday here in Oregon I picked that up too. Horrible-looking set, worthless pseudo-minifigs, but at that price for lots of generic castle parts and a few rare parts, I bit. The discounts seem very random even within product lines (Nexo Knights, zero% to 5...

Re: 76035 Jokerland $96.99 (19% off)
Anyone interested in this set should keep an eye on it at Amazon, it's dipped briefly below $100 three times now that I've observed. In my experience this is usually a sign Amazon is testing the market and sometimes I have gotten very good, very transient deals by frequently watching the pages of pr...

It's at Amazon (or was, I haven't checked if it's still live now). That's why I posted it in the Amazon Sales and Deals Forum.

Got the Crominus helicopter set, number escapes me at the moment, for 50% off.
Pretty well picked clean at all my locals other than that.

76035 Jokerland $96.99 (19% off)
Lowest price I've seen. Set doesn't interest me (other than the 89 Batmobile) but the more they discount it the cheaper I'll be able to buy Beast Boy and Starfire on the secondary market eventually, so... have at it!

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 76047 76050 76051 Set Images
Other than the impressive giant brick-built Ant-Man, these sets look like the typical Marvel movie trash sets. I understand that limited access to the actual plot/scenes is a factor, but still I really think LEGO just phones in a LOT of these sets. How many times are they going to tweak the Avenger ...

Re: Amazon sale on dimensions fun packs 50% off
They were discounting heavily even before Christmas. LEGO's track record with these ambitious integration games is pretty dismal. But I see why they have to keep trying and they can afford the losses. Not being able to bring in any Disney IP surely hurt the marketing. The physical product is spectac...

Re: Dimensions fun packs $7.50 on amazon
This was a good sale and I hope they repeat it for the next wave! Staypuft, come to me! Two Cybermen, Sensei Wu, Bad Cop and Doc was my haul. For me the brilliant minibuilds are even more the appeal than the minifigs, and 7.50 is about what the pricepoint SHOULD be for a minifig+minibuild pack (whic...

Re: [MOC] Ironman Hulkbuster
If the actual set had looked like yours, instead of like crap, I would have bought it.
I know LEGO designers have to work with many restrictions compared to MOCers, but yours is really a vast improvement.
The massing and greebling are mint!

Re: LEGO Cyber Monday 2015 Sales
Wow, it's a jungle out there. I had everything ready to go in my cart right as the sale went live. I lost the witch-king instantly and that took me below the $99 threshold for the freebie, so I added something from my save list to bring it back up, in the brief time it took to do that I lost Darksei...

If they stopped going to 70, it's very recent, because I picked up some 70% off stuff just a couple of months ago.

Re: Target winter clearance
Another weird thing that happened is I did a return and the clerk cut open the box seals, which were pristine. I warned her that no one was going to buy a retaped box but she said they are now required to do it for every returned LEGO set, and that "it won't go back on the shelf anyway." I...

Re: Target winter clearance
The only further markdown I saw today was the XMen Sentinel went from 15% off to 30% off. I caved and bought it though even at that price its overpriced. All of the Joker Steamrollers, which there had been at least 20 per store still at 50% off, are gone. They must have done an off-day markdown, and...

Re: Target winter clearance
I stopped by three Targets today and none had done a second round of markdowns. Any idea if this is a 2 or a 1 week cycle between markdowns right now? Two weeks in my area. Other than the Joker steamroller (clearly a special case of extreme shelfwarming), there were no changes this week. Oh, they a...

Re: Target winter clearance
FYI on Joker steamroller: although the tags still are at 30% off, they now scan at 50% off, at least in my area (NorCal). Considering all the Targets I visit have at least 25 of them, I can see why they are slashing more aggressively on that. I expect to get multiples of this at 70% off for parts I ...

Confirm Sabertooth Tribe only. And it was the only thing that was only 15% off, everything else was 30, but there was only one left so I grabbed it.

Re: Target Valentine's clearance = $1 polybags!
I have never once had any luck finding these bargain polys, even in Targets I am sure should have them. I just can't figure out where they stash them.
