Re: CMF 2 for $5

Website says online only sale, limit 1 discount per customer. If you put more than 2 in your cart, you'll pay full price for the 3rd item and after. Sounds like you got these in store?

Re: January 2015 LEGO Offers at Brand Stores & Shop at Home

Can someone please remind me how one gets a lego employee poly? I just spent $$ at the store today, including many series 13 figs, but no freebie. Thanks!

Re: [USA] LEGO Back to the Future 25% off + More Deals

Try this: http://tinyurl.com/amazon-discounted-legos In Amazon, select Toys dept. Type Lego. Then, on left side, there are filters galore. Select Brand:Lego, Discount:25%. Now check Amazon Prime:Eligible, even if you don't have Prime. Then and only then does Amazon come up as a seller, toward bottom...

Re: [USA] LEGO Back to the Future 25% off + More Deals

I always filter by selecting "Amazon" as the seller. Keeps me from seeing the insane prices being asked by the resellers who use Amazon's marketplace. Selecting "Discount 25% or more" also helps. :-)

Re: LEGO Holdiay 2013 Sales (Further Reduced)

I was in live chat and the sets went OOS from Amazon before they looked it up. Chat is *really* slow--they are probably having 10 chats at a time, so the lag between communications is high and with Lego. Anyway, it sucks that the price adjust is so "real time." I wonder if it would help if...

Re: LEGO Holdiay 2013 Sales (Further Reduced)

Both Walmart and Target are still selling King's Castle for $75, in stock, free shipping. Target has a promo code TGCDNTUZ that will take $5 , plus if you have the red card you can get another 5% off. With Amazon now charging tax in my state, it pays to shop around.

Thanks, too. I also contacted Amazon CS via the "Chat" option and quickly got a $10+ price adjustment. Really quick and easy.

Re: LEGO Holdiay 2013 Sales (Further Reduced)

Less scrupulous would be, for example, to claim damage or something else in order to avoid the return shipping charges, which would otherwise offset the $5-10 price difference.

Great deal, so I used points from my Amazon card to get 2 of these sets absolutely free, no tax, delivered. Sweet! Thanks, OP!

Re: Amazon 20% off Toys up to $100 with Amazon Visa

^Had a quick "chat" session with Amazon CS. They couldn't adjust as the shipment was already in process, but they did promise a post-shipment refund of the $10 difference. Worked for me! Less than $100 for the FB is a purty dern good deal.

Re: Amazon 20% off Toys up to $100 with Amazon Visa

^^ Hey! Two hours ago the FB was 129.97! Is there a way to get the extra $10 in these circumstances? If I cancel the current order, they might not give me back the one-time 20% discount.

Re: Amazon 20% off Toys up to $100 with Amazon Visa

Thanks for the post! I just ordered the Fire Brigade 10197, already at $129.97 (13% off). The extra 20% off brings the tax-free (for me) total to $109.97, or almost 27%!

Amazon has price matched, with no tax in most states (and free shipping with Prime or with > $25 total). http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Star-Wars-Desert-Skiff/dp/B007Q0OUTY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1352439535&sr=8-1&keywords=lego+9496&tag=tonbr-20" onclick="window.open(this.href)...

Re: Walmart Pet shop, Death Star back

With this kind of sale in early October, I wonder what Black Friday will bring. Are Lego retail prices and small percent decreases no longer the norm? Was there a Lego inflation bubble, and has it burst? What could explain these very early, pre-holiday fire sales from Walmart, Amazon, et al?

Re: B&N has King's Castle 7946

Perhaps you can educate the rest of us interest purchasers on what retailers out there sell it for a mere 5-20% markup on MSRP, because I am having trouble finding it. Perhaps we can have a bidding war on my beach front property... Gee, I was only trying to be helpful by answering your question--th...
