People are dumb. I stopped telling people on how they can get better deals just by going to the Lego store or target. They don't want the hassle of going to multiple stores. This is a off topic but would anyone please let me know typically how long it takes to receive the set from Target when we order it online?

It's been at $35 in-store for a few weeks already. Even Target drops them to $35 in-store as well. And the original in-store price was actually $50, not $55.

So on what basis does TRU refuse Hobbit sets BOGO50? They are construction sets and not on exclusion list. I saw them at a local TRU today. They DID ring up BOGO50, although i didn't buy any due to their jacked-up prices.

For those tempted to call TRU service to argue for the modular sets and BOGO50, the modular sets are considered "models", not "construction sets". So technically, they are automatically excluded from BOGO50. I believe back in September, for just 1 day (Monday?) after the B2G1 fre...

67% ori price + 6% = (67% ori price) x 1.06 = approx. 71% ori price = 29% off. Not bad if all 3 sets were same price.

So yeah, B2G1F was still better. BUT, if there is shipping cost & with typical jacked-up TRU price, maybe not that much better.
