Re: TARGET Buy $49+ Set get free mini figures
The manager of my local Target (mentioned above) just called me to let me know that their shipment of minifigures has finally arrived and that he's holding one for me. I had already ordered two online (that apparently just shipped), so it looks like Target is coming through for me!

Re: TARGET Buy $49+ Set get free mini figures
just got notification that my order will ship… without the minifigs. it is showing as mini fig set as CANCELLED. it looks like i got $15 off (well, $15 minus red card disc, so less than $15) pretty odd. i'll have to wait to see what actually comes in. Very interesting. I really want the minifigures...

Re: TARGET Buy $49+ Set get free mini figures
I stopped by the Target in Nashua, NH this afternoon and was told that the minifigure set was already sold out. I asked how that could be since the flyer has been out for only one day and there were still lots of $49+ sets. I got a shoulder shrug so I filled out the online survey and ripped them for...

I just picked up a dozen at my local Target for $2.99 as well. So they are out there.

Wow, those train sets are crazy expensive. $200 for an 888 piece set, even with Power Functions is nuts!

Re: May 2014 LEGO Store Calendar
On lego.com, there is a link to "preview our special offers" for May the 4th, but when you click on it, you get three bullets: one for Darth Revan, one for the poster and then a vague "Select Items, While Supplies Last". A bit farther down the page though, there is a "Check ...

Re: [Kids] B&N LEGO Movie Event 1/25
But we were planning on visiting the Lego store down in Burlington, MA already and they were actually giving away small polybags there, so the day was not a loss after all. Can you elaborate? Is this the LEGO Movie Accessory pack? I saw it at the store, but have not had time to take my daughter in ...

Re: [Kids] B&N LEGO Movie Event 1/25
Like others, my son and I found the B&N event pretty crappy. We went to the store in Nashua, NH and it was a mob scene without enough supplies and my son was definitely less than thrilled by the poster giveaway considering we have three or four of them already. But we were planning on visiting t...

Re: [Kids] B&N LEGO Movie Event 1/25
I'm taking my son to Barnes and Noble tomorrow afternoon. I've never been to one of these at a B&N, but we've been to several in the past at Borders and there were usually activities plus a polybag. Hopefully this will be the same.

I think the set looks great. Honestly, when I first saw the details on the carousel, I thought to myself that it would be a $119 set. I'll be getting mine!

Re: Celebrate Summer Mini Build
I really wish they had some of these on weekends. I would consider bringing my son occassionally, but the closest Lego store is about 40 miles away and it's just not practical during the week.

I wish I'd caught the Arkham Asylum set on sale. It's one that I've been trying to keep an eye on. Great set and I'm betting that it will shoot up very quickly once it's retired.

Re: New US LEGO Brand Stores coming to CT, MO, TX and UT
I think I'm going to put more faith in what Lego has to say than the prospective mall's facebook page. What I find interesting about the White Plains store is that it's only about 15 miles away from the Palisades Mall store in Nyack, NY. So clearly, if they'd put this one in so close to the Nyack st...

Re: LEGO 2014 Ninjago Sets?
All goofiness and/or accuracy aside, let's remember that most Legos are still sold to kids (or parents of kids) and that's where our own love of Legos stems from. My eight year old son LOVES Ninjago and so do many his age. And while it may appear that Ninjago was done or soon will be done, I have no...

Re: [USA] LEGO City Museum Break-in on sale for 26% off
I just don't know! Do I bite? I like this set, but it feels like $50 was the price it should've been, so I'm not feeling that excited to jump on this one. What do you City fans think? I agree completely on this. I thought that this looked like a nice little set when it was first released and was sh...

Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)
I didn't order the half price B-Wing, but I did order the Y-Wing + Watch combo and the Umbaran MHC™ to get the free shipping plus poster plus Han. However, when I placed it midday on Saturday, I got a message saying that due to high volume I might not get a confirmation e-mail for up to 24 hours. We...

Just like normal.
Where is the news?
Sets should disappear from shelves quickly and sets should appreciate rather quickly.
