Re: [Entries] LEGO Avengers Contest
"Loki 0, Hulk 1... 2... 3, and 4" User Astericked beat us to it (no pun intended), but here's our take on the famous Loki beat-up. Model by my 9-year-old, photo and "cinematic" colour correction by me. We used roughly 100 pcs. Here's a crazy looping GIF as reference: http://reac...

Re: [Entries] The Simpsons LEGO Microbuild Tournament
Really Tiny Springfield Nuclear Power Plant (105 pcs) Springfield_PowerPlant_main.jpg This is my take on the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant in micro scale. 105 parts were used only, as I tried to be as micro as possible! Featuring a three-eyed skull-shaped toxic cloud as an obvious tribute to Blink...

Re: Toys R Us Starting March 21
A lot of Silver Mines and Vampyre Castles here in the Ottawa area. Anyone saw a discounted Lone Ranger Stagecoach Escape (79108)? I missed it online, it's as if they were already sold out before the sale went live...

Re: [Giveaway] The LEGO Movie Polybags
My favorite "Display" set is going to be the Sea Cow, of course, my favorite "swooshable" is sure to be Benny's Spaceship, but my favorite -- er, my sons' favorite -- for now is Metal Beard Duel, by far. We just love how we can alter it and make other similar mecha-pirates, in so...

Re: TRU Canada Lego Movie Giveaway
Yep, same here. I was in line with my 3 sons waiting to build the free Emmett's car, and every parent I saw got that darn 11x17 poster, which, like someone said here, we were supposed to get for free by showing the Lego Club Magazine. As usual, nobody (among the staff) seems to be very well informed...

Re: [USA] McDonalds Happy Meal LEGO Movie cups
I agree with your comments guys... but I have an almost-8 and a 5-year-old here who are psyched by these things! Softens my heart ;-) We tend to collect cheap plastic character cups from the Cineplex too, and they can't wait to add the long-awaited Lego movie ones to their (worn out) collection. But...
