Re: Steal of a Deal / Recent LEGO Purchases
Oddly enough mine came with a deformed 1/4 round piece that is used for the "shoulder" above the arms. For the life of me I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't fit, but LEGO sent me a new one that does. Interesting, I had one of the exact same piece that wouldn't quite fit. I tried to fig...

Re: Target Summer Clearance 2014?
Just got back from Target. It started today. Most Chima was half off, as was the Republic Gunship. The rest was mainly 30% off and included: Superman, Iron Man, Castle, a few of the smaller Star Wars sets, the mountain hut, and the Castle Calvary set from the movie.

Re: [B&N] Buy 1, get 1 50% off - 10/12-14
Almost all B&N coupons are only good on one item, but it should come off the most expensive item. I've edited the front post. So when you pick two sets, say $50 and $50. It really is $40 (20% off) and $50 with 50% off the lower one so $20. It would be $70 for $100 of sets or 30% off. With membe...

Because it's Toys R Us? :) But really, they do add shipping costs if you match an online price. Has always been that way with them.

Yeah, but Toys R Us actually adds the shipping charges to the price match.greanie2011 wrote:I meant they will price match Online stores, "Amazon.com". If you are not a prime member like myself you end up paying shipping on some of the smaller sets anyways. Just price match them at toysrus.

Hmm. The hood in the original was perfect, and it's what really made it look like a Delorean. The official version...not so much. A very odd thing to change.

Re: [USA] ToysRUs LEGO Sale: June 2-8
Can confirm that the $10 gift card stacks with the $20 off $75. However, they wouldn't let me use reward certificates and still get the $20 off, so I walked out with nothing. *sigh*, the joys of shopping at Toys R Us.

Re: Barnes and noble
If you're a member using a coupon, remember that you get the maximum savings by selecting sets that differ slightly in price. First the coupon knocks down the highest-price item by 20%, then the BOGO takes 50% off whichever item is now lower. Then your membership takes 10% off of the total. In theo...

They have them for $69.98 at the Easton, OH store. They didn't have any at all two weeks ago. At least 4 left as of late tonight. Wish they would have had the post office too :)

My guess is it's part of two different sets? 4, 5 and 6 look like the Republic Frigate. 2 and 3 look like they're from something else. Mace Windu Starfighter, maybe?

Ah, now that's a horse of a different color - I can see why you then expected to be able to both use the promotion and had a dissatisfying customer service experience that left a bad taste in your mouth when you were flat-out denied. It's unfortunate, but I would hope this type of experience is an ...

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart LEGO Clearance Fall 2012
I for one, appreciate the people that post any random deals they happen to find. It gives a very good idea on what to look out for. There have been countless times I've heard on here that some locations have had specific items, and been able to find them unmarked as clearance, but they scan at the c...

Earlier this year, they rejected a LEGO return because "it's a collectable". Even if it was, collectables are still returnable. It took a lot of arguing, before the manager relented, but she said "I'm flagging your rewards card so you can't return anything again". Lovely. I haven...

Title: A Pirate Goes for the Gold! Piece count: 133 Since it's start in ancient Atlantis, nothing defines summer quite like the LEGOlympic games. Re: How to Save at Target
Hmm.. I've never seen a price end with a 4 either, and we generally wander around looking at all clearance, not just toys. Clicking on the link to the other site where the article got that information, it seems suspect. They mention 75%, instead of the much more typical 70%. Or maybe it comes into p...
