That's exactly the same thing that I was thinking when I read this post. I thought the whole point was to build the set and showcase it to your friends ... not just collect the boxes.

Yeah ... I agree with you. If the manufacturers listened to their customers then they may actually be creating mutual satisfaction -- for both the customers and the business! Of course, with higher quality the price may be driven up but I think most would be willing to pay the price for better quali...

I've also seen robotic construction sets -- if you are into that kind of thing. I don't recall what the name was though. I think they may have been called Mindstorm.
