Re: Change to Monthly Mini Model Build starts July 2015

I love it! I took my daughter and a few friends to one of these and had to wait 2 hours in line. Haven't bothered since. I'll definitely go again if I can schedule dinner and other shopping around it instead of blowing my entire evening.

Re: [TNB Review] 10695 Creative Building Box

Watch out with this set. The tape is very poorly attached so the boxes get opened just by employees stocking them on the shelves. There should be 5 bags sorted by color family and a loose green plate.

S@H lists the release date for these sets as March 1, not April.

The stores are required to ship all damaged box 'exclusive' items back to the warehouse now, if they can't sell them for full price.

What's the over-under on the number of days it will take Lego's legal department to send you a cease and desist for using their trademark?

They're probably more willing to throw in extra promo sets when they think they're going to have leftovers.

Re: New Lego store in St Louis

Exactly, if your state gets a store, even if you are 6 hours away from the store, you have to pay sales tax. No, I'm in MO, 30 miles from the KS store, so I can stop there and shop, or buy online without sales tax. I rack up points online and use them in store to avoid sales tax there too. No more ...

Re: [USA] Target Sale November 18-21

I couldn't find any podracers, but one store offered me half off another lego set (got a gungan sub for $33), and another store offered half off a similar priced set, or $10 off another $39.99 set, so I picked up a Heartlake Vet for my daughter. Should have gotten a Jabba's Palace instead of the sub...

So the piles of leftover stock from last year's SW Advent set told them to jack up the price by $10?

Re: VIP Members: 10% off PAB Cups*

I think the fact that you have to buy a lagre and small kind of kills the deal. Not sure which cup you have a problem with. The cups are 1 and .5 L each. The lids are .15 L. So if you fill the cups so the lids just touch the top of the cups, you get 1.15 L and .65 L. That works out to $13.04 /L for...

I believe there's a new mold here. A 4x4 round plate with 2x2 hole in the middle is used for the trim around the windows next to the door.

Santa and the skier will be just in time for my annual xmas/winter display. The first cheerleader was popular, so I imagine this one will be too. Same with the robot, which I really want. I'm sure my daughter will want lots of the faeries. Maybe the cowgirl too. The alien commander queen is pretty c...

Jabba's Palace is $120??!? Holy cow! I knew it would be a higher price/piece because of all the new molds for the figs... so $90-100. But jeeze, $120?

Don't worry... In two years they'll make another version and you can order five of that one. :-D
