Re: LEGO Star Wars 5002948 C-3PO Minifigure Available at Toy
I know the C-3P0 poly was available last month as part of a Star Wars promo, but has anyone in Canada found the Hulk poly at any of their local stores?

Also found this at the TRU at Markville Shopping Centre in Markham, ON. Saved me from having to spend $35 at the Lego Store!

The coin bank is now available in Canadian Lego Stores. Just saw it yesterday, selling for $27.99, if I recall correctly.Gray2010 wrote:Piggy bank looks nice. If it ever sells in Canada, I would buy one for my nephew.

Re: ToysRUs Canada 2014 Holiday Book LEGO Sale: Airmiles
But as much as we gripe, Lego seems to be flying off the shelves at msrp And that is exactly why there are far fewer sales on Lego at TRU, especially with the holiday season right around the corner. Why put a discount on something that will sell at full price anyway? Sounds like a good business mov...

Re: LEGO FAN EXPO Canada 2014 Exclusive Set
Managed to purchase one yesterday (Friday) morning. Set costs $45 +tax. It's obviously overpriced when you compare it to the rest of the Microfighter sets, but I'd say it right in line with similar comiccon toy exclusives. I'm just happy that Lego has stepped up their presence and decided to even do...

Re: [CAN] - New Lego Movie/City/Creator/Agents sets spotted
Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but I was at the Fairview store last Friday (the 9th) and they also received a small shipment of the new X-Men set (the one with Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Magneto and a Sentinel), along with all the sets mentioned above. There was only about 4 or 5 left ...

Re: 2014 LEGO X-Men Minifigures
Looks like possibly a "Days of Future Past" sub-theme? Hopefully? That would be my guess. Lego has based most of their Super Heroes sets on TV/Movie properties (ie.the Avengers, Ultimate Spider-Man, Man of Steel, the Dark Knight). I would still love to see more classic comic book stuff th...

TRU Canada has 30216 Lake Town Guard
I just bought a couple of these polys at my local TRU here in Markham, Ontario, Canada. There were two Lego reps in restocking the Lego aisle just now, so I'm guessing they may have just put these out this morning. Priced at $4.99 CDN

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Videogame Coming October 31, 20
^^ I just picked up my copy (for the Xbox 360) and the packaging is the same. This is here in Toronto, Canada, and also from a Walmart store. I'm thinking because the promo minifig is packaged this way, it'll probably fetch a pretty penny in the after-market since they'll be harder to obtain outside...

Re: LEGO 10243 Parisian Restaurant Press Release
I think the fact that the building doesn't use the full square footage of the baseplate is a good thing. Those extra parts are clearly being used for the very nice detailing of this building. And secondly, the smaller building will create some nice spacing/negative space when it is connected to the ...

Re: The Monster Fighters are not in the New Spring Lego Cata
Well its now August, and I don't see any indication of the Monster Fighers sets retiring (except for the Target exclusive Zombies set). Perhaps they will all be retired at the end of the year along with the Haunted House? Perhaps no 'official' indication of their retirement, but they've started to ...

For my fellow Canadians, they are now showing up at Canadian TRU locations as well. I picked up a couple at the Markville store (Markham, ON) just yesterday. Fresh out of the box too. They hadn't put them out on the pegs yet!

Anyone care to speculate on what they might go for in the secondary market during this year's holiday season? I'm guessing there will be a good demand for them, but I wonder how many people stocked up on them last year and are waiting for this Christmas to roll around.

Wow, those mock-ups are really well done, and look like they could totally be feasible minifigs, accessories and all. I was a huge MotU fan as a kid, so I'd be all over this set!davedude wrote:these would be awesome!!!!
