Re: [US/CA] 2016 LEGO Black Friday/Brick Friday Sales & Offe

Was the double VIP points only for last week? It only show shows me getting 119 points for the pet shop.

Also, anyone know if discover removed Lego from their cash back? It's not showing up under discover deals.

Re: Name that piece (the Brick/Minifigure identification top

^^ wow I forgot they made them that way. I have a couple of the sprues and forgot where they came from. Anyway, anybody know if this is Lego or not? There's no Lego markings anywhere so it could be a clone part or something really old? Sent from my GT-I9505G using Tapatalk Looks like the old train ...

Lego Dimensions

What are your thoughts on this?

http://www.lego.com/en-us/dimensions/

It seems interesting, but really expensive for what you're getting. I guess the prices are in line with the Skylanders/Amiibos/Disney Infinity figures, but most people will have these figures already.

It is frustrating. There are a bunch of cool polys across the pond.

I wonder what kind of deals they will have. Probably not worth the 2.5 hour drive though.

Re: Walmart winter/spring clearance 2015

^^ I've noticed that if the item is in stock at WM.com, the app will show that same price for all the stores. That would explain your sub and cycle discrepancies since both of those sets are in stock.

[Wanted] Donatello minifig, Baxter, or Shredder bike set

Hey guys, I'm looking to trade for a Donatello minifig (Nick cartoon, not movie version) from the Baxter set or the Shredder bike set. I will also trade for those two complete sets if you have them. Have (all sealed): Lone Ranger Stagecoach Lone Ranger Comanche Camp Superheroes Dynamic Duo Funhouse ...

Re: Walmart clearance 2015

I found the turtle van for $19, the tmnt sub for $30, modok set for $39, and the weirdest one: mindstorms ev3 for $200.

All the karai sets, milanos, and joker steamrollers were all cleared out. I wonder if the managers marked them for return to warehouse.

Re: Weird question

My 3, almost 4 year old loves to take his small sets apart and rebuild it. If something falls off and he needs help with it, I put it back together for him. I wouldn't glue them for the reasons stated above.

Re: Old Lego pieces hard to play with?

Hmm, that could be it. They used to be stored in a closet that would get up above 80 degrees F. It's too bad. I guess I'll have to stick with newer bricks for him to play with.

Old Lego pieces hard to play with?

I dug out an old (1985) basic set so my son could build with it. He's been building and disassembling the same set a couple of times now so I wanted to give him something new to build. I found the old pieces really hard to put together and to remove. They are quite different from the buttery smooth ...

Re: Scooby Doo Toy Fair Report

My favorite theme of the year. The five sets are all nice and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that there are no females in the 3 cheapest sets. Yeah, I get why it's only Scooby and Shaggy in the cheapest ones since they're the main characters, but the fact that Velma is only in the biggest ...

Re: DC Superheroes Toy Fair Report

I am surprised with the release of this jokerland. It goes very well with the 6857 funhouse escape. 8 minifigs included in this set is more than I would expect. The only downside is that the batmobile is similar to the one in 6864 two-face set. This set definitely jumps to the top of my shopping li...

Re: LEGO City Toy Fair Report

I understand that there are a lot of big pieces, but City the last few years have been outrageous even without the big pieces. A 500 piece space shuttle no matter what should never cost $120. A few big pieces or not. Five years ago we got this set... http://brickset.com/sets/10213-1/Shuttle-Adventu...
