Re: 10% off coupon on Fall 2013 Catalog
It was 10% off one item. I have mixed feelings on that coupon. On the one hand, sometimes my kids don't have $35 to spend, so at least this way they'd get some savings. Also, if they want to make a big purchase they could save more than $5 (assuming that the set isn't an exclusive). For example, $7 ...

Re: Old LEGO Minifigure Series at Walmart?
I've found Series 5 at rural Wal Marts as recently as a few months ago. Unlike Target, Wal Mart often will put something in the clearance aisle at full price. And they'll leave it there until it sells. If you find a Wal Mart far enough out of the way, it's entirely possible to find some of the serie...

Re: 10% off coupon on Fall 2013 Catalog
At the August LEGO Club Meeting, instead of the usual $5 off $35 coupons, they handed out 10% off coupons that clearly came out of an inkjet printer, and they specifically stated that they coupons couldn't be used on exclusives. Since the Black Friday scratch-off coupons are only given at the regist...

Just checked my history, and I did receive VIP points for the September meetings (registered 8/15).

Re: Feedback/information on Lego Club Meetings
I've taken one or both of my kids to most of the meetings this year. The Milwaukee store definitely had specialty parts and parts to build Lone Ranger minifigs. I would suggest emailing or talking to the manager. You've clearly been to quite a few of these, and if the quality of the meetings has sli...

Re: Current B&N Coupon Codes
Received a July 4th 20% coupon for this weekend, so check your email. B&N has been very generous with coupons lately. Last year I remember getting coupons about every 3-4 weeks, lately I've had a coupon just about every week. I received pre-Mothers Day weekend, Mothers Day Weekend, Pre-Fathers D...

Re: LEGO Crab - July 2013 Mini Model Build
We were in Milwaukee for Summerfest, and since this was on the same day we went to the LEGO store when we were done. The line was really long. We've never done a Mini Model Build, and my kids didn't want to wait in line so they decided to skip it and just visit the LEGO store. When we got done there...

Spotted at the Wauwatosa WI store last night. Same thing as reported, all Monster Fighters, including the minifig pack (witch, ghost, zombie) and keychains... but not the Haunted House.

Re: STUNT PLANE
TRU has it up on their page in the US. They list their price as $23, which probably means a $20 MSRP. It should start trickling into stores... my guess is later this month at TRU, August for the LEGO store and other retailers.

Re: Vancouver LEGO Store One Year Anniversary
explained the promo gift was given away only if the total due was $75 (or more) AFTER coupon use. This is typical for LEGO promotions. Most people don't know it because LEGO coupons are so rare, but I've run into this same thing with the coupons they give out for LEGO club meetings. Now, in some ca...

Re: VIP early release for 10237 The Tower of Orthanc
I think someone needs to buy LEGO a calendar. Do they purposely time these things to miss out on gift-giving holidays? Why put out the set the day after Father's Day? Likewise, Friends and Arkham Asylum both missed Christmas (2011 and 2012 respectively). I'm surprised they didn't decide to release t...

Re: [USA] Galaxy Squad Summer Sets at TRU.com
Toys R Us routinely sells things that aren't available yet from LEGO. Some people say that their contract with LEGO gives them the exclusive right to sell the sets early, others say that TRU just ignores the street date and sells them ahead of time to get a jump on the competition. Only the lawyers ...

Re: Series 10 Now Starting to Appear at Target, ToysRUs, Wal
Every single LEGO minifig series I've rifled through has been displayed in the vertical case version, which holds 4 or 5 packets per bay and has 15 bays, so probably around 60 count. I've seen them at Target, Walmart, and even K-mart. TRU seems to only do the small standard box, which I haven't see...

Re: Series 10 Now Starting to Appear at Target, ToysRUs, Wal
You guys are confusing two different types of cases. The standard case that most stores get, including TRU, includes 60 figures. You can view the case assortment near the bottom of the Eurobricks review: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=80676" onclick="window.open(this.h...

Re: Series 10 Now Starting to Appear at Target, ToysRUs, Wal
Found Series 10 at TRU tonight. Didn't have much time, so just grabbed eight random packages. Ended up with the baseball player, paintballer, Roman, Native American, and four warrior women. I guess I won't need any more of those!

Re: CMF Series 10 listed at TRU
A case is usually just under $200. But since probably only 1 out of 100 cases will have one of these (if that), you'd have more luck investing your money in the lottery. There are about 5,000 Wal Mart stores, 2,000 Target stores, plus LEGO, Toys R Us, Shopko, Barnes and Noble, and countless other re...

Re: USA Sale: LEGO Jabba's Palace on sale for 27% off
These are still being produced, so those saying it is discontinued or gone forever are quite wrong. The only announcement that LEGO made is that this will be phased out at the end of the year, no different from probably 90% of LEGO's other sets that have a two year run. It's the rare set (Death Star...

Re: What polys does your Target have for Easter?
The Friends picnic is the other one. None of the Targets in my hometown have them. I found one while on a roadtrip, but it wasn't in the computer at that Target store. Then tonight I found a Target that had 50+ of them, so either they restocked or hadn't put them out after Valentines Day (when they ...

Interesting. So it works with most LEGO sets, but doesn't work with the modulars. I suspect that they meant to exclude those in the terms, but accidentally listed all LEGO as excluded.

Re: Target Easter Setup & Selection
Target usually doesn't restock these seasonal polys. So if they are mistakenly selling out now at clearance prices, it probably means that the rest of us will never have a chance to get them for our kids for Easter.
