Re: [POLL] Are We Posting Amazon Sales Updates Too Often?

Keep them coming and bring more!!!!

I want to be taunted by the Slave 1 for $60, as I keep declining to buy it. I keep hearing my wife in the back of my head "We have no more room for toys!" :(

Re: Open box anxiety

I've never really understood the MISB mentality. I've always been a "take it out and play with it" kinda guy. I collected Disney Cars from the first Cars movie, I kept some MISB for trading purposes, but mostly to keep for my son when he grows up. He can get that rush of being a kid again...

Re: Series 4 at TRU

TRU in Tustin California had an entire box behind the customer service counter. I asked about them and was told that "they are on hold for some one". I have never heard of TRU placing things on hold. I told her I just wanted one or two for my son and sure enough she broke down and sold me ...

Re: Batman Sticker Sheet Scans

Is there a website that has high quality scans of LEGO stickers? I know many people prefer printed pieces but it seems like copies of sticker sheets would be handy. Why hasn't someone done this? Is it a copyright issue? I doubt there is a major copyright issue here. Stickers fall off all of the tim...

Batman Sticker Sheet Scans

I'm building my own 7888 using bricklink orders (tumbler and ice cream truck). Since I am not super excited about paying $70+ for a sticker sheet, I'm curious if anyone knows of sticker sheet scans floating around out there or maybe has a sheet they can scan for me. Thanks for your tips/input!

Re: Series 4 at TRU

I have a feeling due to the time frame they may put these in the easter section at Target .. if they want to keep with the "seasonal" section they've been doing. I was hoping for this, but it doesn't look like it. There aren't any empty spaces for CMF4s in their Easter section. The only h...

Re: Series 4 at TRU

hey atmail... you might try (which I'm going to as well) returning the CMF4's (all of them) to TRU, and rebuying them at the store if the store is willing to give you the free set.... I snipe deals on TRU.com all the time, and last BOGO I had a massive return of over $500 in sets, just to repurchas...

Re: New Lego Store in Costa Mesa, CA

I was there too. Quite a line! They were also giving away copies of LEGO Universe (the online game). The store is smaller compared to the store @ Downtown Disney in Anaheim, CA, but the PAB section did seem to be slightly larger (although they did repeat a lot of pieces). They were handing out free...

Re: 2011 LEGO Kingdoms

They wont. Once they have a color scheme they never deviate. They being LEGO? How about Atlantis being trans yellow this year or Power Miners being light blue the second? ;) LEGO could decide a big black castle looks bad on a box so they add more shades of brown to clean it up. I'm actually hoping ...

I hate that site. It has somehow managed to steal hundreds of dollars from me over the past few months.....usually on Friday nights when I'm bored and not paying attention :D

Re: [POLL] One Grand Prize or Multiple Smaller Prizes?

Just my opinion...I would be way more excited about maybe winning a larger more expensive set, than a smaller cheaper set that I would be likely to buy on my own on an impulse. Bottom line: Bigger Prizes = More Excitement.

WTB WTT for Medieval Village, Batman Bad Guys

Hey guys I am interested in trading for or buying a couple of items. 1. I would really like to get a Medieval Village 10193. If some one has an open split up set that would be perfect. I really just want the houses, but I would take the whole package if need be. 2. Batman Bad Guys - specifically Sca...

Re: Kmart Children's Building Event Leftovers

It would have been nice to know about this. :( These types of events at Kmart are generally very poorly communicated and organized. I went to a few Disney Pixar CARS days at Kmart and it was a complete crazy house with collectors elbowing eachother and kids being turned away....awful. On that note,...

New Lego Store in Costa Mesa, CA

Hey there Orange County members, I'm not sure if you noticed but a new lego store will be opening in South Coast Plaza. It will be right next to Puzzle Zoo, which also sells Lego (at a 10-20% mark up! whoops!) http://stores.lego.com/en-us/Costa%20Mesa/LandingPage.aspx" onclick="windo...

Agreed.
I don't think any of our stores have set up the easter section yet. At least not as of earlier this week.

I have been to 2 Borders closeout locations and they have both had Series 2 for 3.19 each. No Spartans but I was able to find a Vampire and a Pharoah. Awesome!
