Re: Official Press Release: LEGO 10249 Winter Toy Shop

This seriously stinks!! Can lego not come up with anything new? Why bust my butt to make sure I get each year if they are just going to release them all again. I'm hugely disappointed and about to say bon voyage between all the cheap pieces they are producing and nothing new. Huge disappointed house...

Re: Moving to a new house

Thank you for the thoughts. I wish I was only moving 10 minutes away to make it easier to deal with the legos. I'll take all the thoughts into account. I would rather leave them built, I'm sure it is just unrealistic in my case to even think about that with the room it would take up. Thank you also ...

Moving to a new house

I am looking to move within the next 6 months. I can't quite figure out the best way to move legos. This would be about a 10 hour move with lots of huge legos (creator green grocer, fire station, etc). And of course lots of smaller ones too. Do I just tear them all apart to save room on the moving t...

Re: How much space do you have?

I have a "plastic" room in the basement, it currently holds my little tikes obsession but I'm thinking if I can bring myself to get rid of most of the items in there I could have so much more room! Currently we have to 5x5 foot boards on the floor, city all built nicely and an ikea expedit...

Re: Advice - Many Sets to Sell

Thank you so much for all the advice and sympathy. These few posts were extremely informational and more info than any friend could tell me, than again, I'm the one that loves legos. Not them. I'm willing to put in the work with the shipping, listing and what not so that part isn't an issue, in fact...

Advice - Many Sets to Sell

I'm looking for some advice. My mother passed away a few months ago and had quite a few lego sets that I now need to sell. She bought them for my son to have something to do at her house and she loved legos too like I do, most are unopened. I used to sell on ebay years ago but that doesn't seem like...

Re: Where can I sell A LOT OF LEGO SETS BOXES

I've always saved all my boxes, the older boxes where the whole flap opened seem to take up so much more room as I don't flatten them.

70805 Trash Chomper is my favorite! I love city things and this is the one that fits most to my liking.

Re: VIP Exclusive Holiday Shopping Event 2013

Interesting, I've never seen one of these or been invited. I've been a VIP since they had the stamp cards, and shopped there years before that even. We tend to spend a ton at the lego store but even more at Amazon. I usually do shop at home a couple times a year too. I'm within 30 miles of lego stor...

I agree with everyone else yet I really want this for the museum. I'm glad it went up in a price a bit before I saw it or I would have been more tempted to bite.

Re: WTB: Old Lego Catalogs

I'll have my son look through and see if we have any doubles. I know he would never part with his, he too loves to look through them but hoping we have more then 1 of some of them. My mom often brought hers to us. We are camping this weekend but he'll have time next week to check.

We haven't build the GE yet but I think it looks way cooler then the FB although the inside of that is adorable. If you plan on getting them all (or most) then get the Fire Brigade first.

Re: Legoland California

Do your kids like legos? If so then I think it is a must do atleast once. My son is 8 and LOVES that place but he also loves legos. He went when he was almost 6 and almost 8. He loves thrill rides and I would not call lego a thrill ride kind of park at all! There are tons of rides for the little one...

Series 1, 2 and 3

Anyone have any extras they are looking to sell for regular price? These are just for my son so I am not into collector's pricing but I totally get it! I have none of series 2, only a couple of series 1 and about half of series 3. I am fine if they are open or played with as long as they are in like...

I have Frankenstein that I would be willing to trade for the Gorilla. We only bought about 1/2 of the 3rd series.

Re: [REVIEW] 10218 -- Pet Shop (Pic Heavy)

Great review. I wasn't too sure about this one because of the size. I am concerned how it will look up against the other city buildings we have (grocery, hotel, fire and emporium). I just love the little apartment though and don't mind accessorizing the top floor. I am tired of seeing the same hoodi...
