Re: New forum member long time fan

Heading to the same Lego store later. Maybe I should pick up 60+ series 3 figs... I'll post some pics later. Re: New forum member long time fan

I took the kids to the local Lego store (Glendale CA) today and we had a blast. Got some Series 3 figs, a few Atlantis figs on sale, a pick your brick bucket, and 6 build your own mini figs. The kids were going nuts and the place was packed. They had numerous in-store sales and deals. http://img600....

Re: Licensed Themes You Would Like To See

Star Trek This would be nice, but I don't see it happening while they have the Star Wars license. I don't think one agreement rules out an agreement with another. Why would you have two high profile science fiction licenses at the same time? You'd cannibalize sales from either line. I think that's ...

Re: LEGO 8804 Collectible Minifigures Series 4

series 4 does indeed sound better than series 3. look forward to it. Yeah agreed. It seems like a better variety and less recycled figs except maybe the surfer and skater. Would have liked to see something other than those two. Would have rather seen a football player (or any other new to the serie...

Re: LEGO 8803 Collectible Minifigures Series 3

It's not a bad set...
My favs are the ball player, fisherman, elf, mummy, tribal chief, & gorilla suit.
The alien seems like a rip off the space police theme.
The rest are ok. For $2.99 or less I suppose.

Series 1 & 2 are great.
Series 4 looks promising.

yes please!

There's a whole line of ships waiting to be designed!

I would pay almost anything for a USS defiant or USS Prometheus :)
The custom Star Trek figs on eBay or elsewhere are not so good

Re: Licensed Themes You Would Like To See

Just a wish list thread for licensed themes you would want to see LEGO pursue in obtaining. I'd be partial to more Superhero themes being obtained. I'd love a Thor line of LEGO :D Maybe finally get a real battle hammer out of it, and possibly resurrect the short lived Vikings Theme. More Marvel/DC ...

Re: LEGO 8803 Collectable Minifigures Series 3 Availability

I think as it stands right now you can get em from lego.com and use the br120 to soften the shipping blow OR tru.com and order over $100 worth so you get free shipping and just pay tax. Either way it's putting you at $2.99 per figure. I guess the good deal about TRU is you can probably return the d...

Awesome. Wonder if they have a site like this for video games LOL.

There are some forum type sites for various game systems/games.
I am on a wii site that is kind of similar but not as nifty.

Re: New forum member long time fan

The problem with the closest lego store is the parking. It's in a large mall. But it's not that far I suppose. Maybe in the next few weeks we'll head over there. I'd like to take the kids regularly for the store events such as set building. I am a vip and have a Lego Universe account. The family wan...
