Re: Toysrus.com - 20% off All Star Wars - Indominus Rex - $9
For the advent calendar, it's not available for store pickup anywhere within a 50 mile radius of San Jose, and it says it's not available for shopping to home. I guess I can't get one with this deal then...

Re: Stack On containers changed design
Ugh. I can't be hustling about trying to get the old ones. I guess I'll have to make a separate column out of new ones when the time comes. Thanks for letting us know!

Re: Qs about Lego.com sales
Hi all, I've got two basic question about lego.com sales and deals: 1. How often do they change? I notice some sales and deals up now, when should I check back to see something different? They always have some kind of sale going. The first thing to note is that Lego has a calendar that they print f...

Re: LEGO 75097 Star Wars Advent Calendar sold out
I can't even really find the City one either. Seems to be sold out everywhere, with jacked up prices from 3rd party resellers (e.g. Amazon, eBay). I could sort of find the Friends one at MSRP, but even that wasn't so easy to find either. My first Christmas without an advent calendar. In future...

Re: Black Friday Walmart 2015
Looks like the big Lego set is sold out online. I added myself to an email notify list but I won't hold my breath. But I placed an order for the Duplo set at $45. I'll gladly pay the $15 difference to avoid the Black Friday bum rush. The MSRP is $60 and it will make a nice gift for my 10-month-old s...

Website won't let you buy the stuff. Product page says the following and won't allow pickup
Please check your local Walmart store for this item.

To anyone considering this set, I highly recommend it. It's a really fun build. Only gripe is the darny darn darn stickers.

Re: Costco USA in store deal.
I (don't) just love it when Lego sets launch and immediately go on sale. And forevermore, the effective regular price of the set is reported as being at a discount. Makes me think that maybe sites like Brickset should have an "effective MSRP" for people to reference.

Re: Black Friday Walmart 2015
I'd say it's a good bet that they will be available for a split second in the wee hours of Thursday morning. Judging from past years...have they historically sold out within seconds/minutes? I've got a 6 month old and have been waiting for ways to acquire a decent amount of Duplo so as to indoctrin...

Re: LEGO Nexo Knights Official Press Release (2016 Theme)
Have there been any minifigures released without arms/hands before? The torso usually comes as a compound element - torso, arms, hands in one package. Not that I can think of! The prospect of a set with a armless torso is odd. As a stuffy old adult, I have to take a pass on this theme as it's not u...

Re: Lego 2015 City Advent Calender 60099 Found at TRU
Ah I love buying the clearanced advent calendars. They cut the price because it has last year's date on it. But I just buy it and hold onto it for the following Christmas. :) The City and Friends ones haven't had the year on it and they stopped putting the year on the Star Wars one last year. Do re...

Re: Grand emporium on shopgoodwill
Most of the Goodwills near me have toys. It's usually in the far back corner on a wall or just one side of the low shelves. I don't go too often. I did buy a quart-sized ziplock bag filled with lego and off-brand bricks a while back. Still haven't got around to sanitizing it! :/

Re: Grand emporium on shopgoodwill
Oh that will get bid up to unreasonable levels. You'll see. There was a time when I was checking out shopgoodwill.com to find deals. But things seem to get bid up like crazy there, worse than on eBay. My advice is don't even waste your time with that site.

Re: Amazon Prime Day - July 15th, 2015
There were some smaller City sets. I was watching somewhat closely. They all seemed to get snapped up right away. In fact all the lightning deals were filled up quickly. I was hard pressed to find any deals that compelled me, for any sort of general merchandise. I'm not thrilled with this prime day ...

Re: Lego Sale at Amazon
I'm sure you had good intentions. But aside from the Kre-o and Mega Blox, which I can't speak for, I don't think the Lego items are really a deal. The Ewok Village is actually the original MSRP. The 200 random lego pieces is not really underpriced / "a deal". And the other thing is just an...
