LEGO Backlot

If you don't know me, that's because I was here a while back. About half a year ago. Anyhow, I've been playing LEGO Backlot (it was one of my favorite games when I was younger) and I can't get past the first part. After giving Johnny Thunder his stuff, the game opens a new pop-up window and the game...

100 dollars for 6986 Mission Commander. It was worth every penny.

Re: 2011 LEGO Creator (Summer)

You can make a round wall by having a 1x2 then a round 1x1 then a 1x2 than a round 1x1. I was hoping they would do that. And including a minifigure takes away from the bricks? Minifigures are the most expensive parts of sets, so they add money. But they're great, so usually I'm prepared to shell ou...

Re: 2011 LEGO Kingdoms

The only thing that could make this series better is if they added a large $100+ Dragon Knight Fortress (with new raised baseplates). However, I feel that the peasants are the most important part of the Kingdom line. So I would not give up any peasants for something else unless they are Elves! Hope...

[MOC] Postbrick City-Medical Transport

I don't have more room on my FlickR, so I'll just link this time. I'll probably upgrade to pro or just say to heck with it and save links somewhere else (tip to all FlickR users: if you have the link, you don't need the picture to be visible on your photostream-it is still visible off of it) http://...

It's a possibility and could make for a great promo (that was surprisingly well hidden).

Looks like an almost repeat of past trains for an outrageous price.

I think that's a police kiosk or something similar, not a log cabin.

Re: 2011 Modular building?

I would like to see lego selling additional second floors for the modular sets. So buy the Fire brigade for 150, but additional second floors for like 40$ They wouldn't sell. LEGO stopped making train cars separately because no one was buying the add ons, and I imagine the building sets would sell ...

Me neither.

So I am spending money I had allocated for the sets on a 3DS.

What is that?

Re: 2011 LEGO Harry Potter

Hmmm...Forbidden Forest is awfully priced (almost 20 cents per part) and isn't even that good-just a tree. Although getting Voldemort and Bellatrix may make the set worth buying. The Knight Bus is better, and the purple definitely makes it worth it. And there is nothing better than back torso printi...

Re: Lego store visit

Finally went to the Local Lego store sunday. Was a little disappointed they didn't have any of the new city sets. I expected they would. Didn't even see an empty space for them Why wouldn't they have the newest sets that have been out for awhile? On a good note, my daughter wanted to build a minifi...

You put a motor in it and it'll still be overpriced.
I'm saying it's a very large set, those are generally good deals.

Re: [Review] 21005 Fallingwater (Architecture)

Great review! For this month, I would have suggested getting a 1 month free trial of Photoshop or Elements since it really clears up your photos. Or buying it if you have the spare cash. By far, this is the best architecture set.

No minifigs, make it part of the Architect line instead.
