Re: LEGO Harry Potter Collection Video Game: PS4 Platform

HP years 1-4 was an epic game. Years 5-7 was still cool, but the format was a little strange due to plot changing the base environment. I wish they would bring the remaster to XBOX One as well as it is my main platform. I have a PS4, but don't even have it plugged in. I hope they at least fixed one ...

Re: First Image for LEGO Ghostbusters 75828 Ecto-1 & 2 Set

This is the first set to have 5 female characters and no males. Pretty cool.
Even 41101: Heartlake Grand Hotel has 1 out of 5 male characters. No other Friends or Disney set has 5+ characters.
60134: Fun in the Park - City People Pack has 7-8 females (depending on how the baby turns out) out of 15.

Re: [USA] Target Stores LEGO Easter Polybag Clearance - 50%

Where can you find these polybags in Target? For seasonal polybags, they'll place them in the seasonal section where they have $2-$6 toys. My Targets either sell through all polys before the holiday or during the first discount (30% off). The polybags near the cash registers are usually non-s...

Re: Tips for liquidating entire Lego collection

I'm now 38 and glad I still have my LEGO sets from the 80's, but didn't play with LEGO through most of the 90's. Got back into it when Cafe Corner came out. I'd caution to listen to this, OP.There are many many many stories about people (or their parents) who got rid of a collection during their &q...

(Maybe keep the EV3 if there is potential interest; robots/programming never get old IMHO.) Have any known (near) complete...

Re: Olaf's Summertime Fun (30397) polybag @ Target

On a side note about Target LEGO polys, the only Christmas poly they had at my locations was the Friends DJ setup. A poor set with very little to it. They didn't get any of the Star Wars polys until after Christmas. The TIE and X-Wing are excellent. The last great Target poly with a minifigure was K...

There was never any action in this area. This alone will make LEGO give it a pass.

Re: LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens Video Game - Available

That's too bad that the PS4 is the only console that has all features. I have a PS4, but only for exclusives. The co-op console series for me is XBOX. I'll have to pretend the extra PS4 items do not exist.

Re: 2016 Nuremberg German Toy Fair - LEGO Set Pictures Revea

Finally a roller coaster! But the rails are limited and height disappointing. I still want it as I've been asking for it. I hope this set does well so they will eventually make a full coaster with a loop and optional build of corkscrew. Maybe they can't pull off the complicated build that K'nex has....

Re: looking for advice on technic sets as gift

Building any LEGO set is very simple. You can see the age for the motorcycle is 9-16. I got into Technic around 9 and never needed help. It only gets complex with Mindstorms or making something uniquely detailed without instructions. Unlike model, erector sets or robot sets where you use glue, screw...

It won't contain Ecto 1. I'm sure the garage will interoperate with it though. The Ecto 1 must have sold so well to enable this to happen. Business-wise, It would have been risky trying to sell the complete set for $400. That is a high bar for entry. Not everyone who can afford the Ecto 1 can also a...

I was surprised about that too. I'm fond of C-3PO, R2-D2 and now BB-8. You would think they could make a $20 with those three.

I thought they were pretty extensive with the Arctic. Seems like they did every vehicle possible and multiple base pieces. What did they miss?

Re: Collectable Minifigure blind pack weights

During Series 3, I bought a .001 scale just for this. But I found significant variations between the same figures. It was an accurate scale because the exact same item would weigh the same each time. I was really surprised because LEGO has regular quality. I should have weighed each piece to pin poi...

I went back and saw the train station. I grabbed one of those, another hotel, and 3 of the 2014 mini m...

Re: LEGO Dimensions Release at Toys R Us America

Might want to be aware that those two Ninjago fun packs seen here are exclusive to TRU. There are no other exclusives at other stores. I'm skipping Ninjago and only collecting about 65% of the sets to reduce costs and also have little interest in some themes or characters. However, if they included ...

Re: LEGO Bricktober 2015 at Toys R Us USA - First Week!

not bad for folks that still need some series 14 monsters or new sets. also every TRU seems to have Chima on clearance.. but $75 is a lot to spend for a micro model where the bricklink parts for the mini modular total $5.00 at most. It is wrong to assume that the Bricklink parts are just $5 ... I a...
