Do these knock offs originate from the same factories that are producing official Lego products overseas? If so, these knock offs could very well be the same material and quality as the real deal.

And this is very wrong and I hope these companies get shut down.

Just saw two new Star Wars sets at the Linden, NJ Target. They look pretty cool! The new Tie Fighter and the Imperial Shuttle were available. The shuttle has the new dark Jedi guy and he looks amazing!

Does Walmart mark down their clearance items on a specific day of the week, like Target Thursday?

You need to call, I checked the website and got no info but I called with the "673419221863" number and they tracked one down for me. FYI...these are in several stores and in large quantities. In the NY / NJ area, at least.

Is the sale still going on? This was quite a crazy sale...not so much for LEGO though. A lot of fun stuff lasted to 95 % off. The Union, NJ TRU has one of the cheaper sets - Riddles For the Ring or The Wizard Battle - for $5.99. Not sure which one as it was sold out, but it seems like all TRU are running the same deals so this may be available elsewhere.

The TRU in Elizabeth, NJ had the yellow Master Builder Academy in stock for $45 as of late Wednesday night. One left and it had a dent / tear on the front but it looked to be intact, the tear wasn't too bad so nothing could have fallen out.

These prices may be standard TRU and not YMMV, I saw the same prices in Staten Island and Union, NJ. No Jabba's Palace, though. Also saw a Battle of Helm's Deep for $75.

Strange this would not be advertised. Target had the same special, in store. I don't think that was advertised either.

Pirate Ship and Black Gate at Palisades Mall were definitely not Price Cuts, they had the red clearance sticker. Helm's Deep was $85, that was a price cut.

The Palisades Mall, NY Target had the LotR Pirate Ship and Black Gate for 30 % off. One Gate and two Pirate Ships as of Sunday night.

I saw two different Chima Speedorz (Eglor and Leonidas) for $5.50 (unmarked) at the K-Mart by Rutgers University in NJ. Plenty left.
