Re: Availablity Update for LEGO Ideas Exo-Suit & Research In
I managed to score two Exo Suit sets but, missed the Research Institute (only have so much coin)...but, with the rumours of 'limited run', etc., it got me to wondering: perhaps the 'limited run' is only for the original 'LEGO Ideas' winner purposes? Then, LEGO cranks out more sets, sans the 'LEGO I...

Re: [USA/CAN] August 2011 LEGO calendar
I wonder if the ADU jetpack is only through the Lego stores. There's a online code for it so the promo should be online as well. Duplo brick promo not in my area, that sucks :( It's fairly limited in scope: Legoland California; Discovery Centre Chicago or Dallas/Ft Worth. Supposedly, it's meant to ...

[CAN] CMF gift wrap & 'Destination' key chain
I hope I'm putting this in the right spot... LEGO's Sherway Gardens store has these two new items in stock: #853240 CMF gift wrap http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww177/Ogre21/GiftWrapCMF.jpg #853307 D2C 'Destination' key chain http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww177/Ogre21/Canada01.jpg LEGO's n...

Re: [WORLD] Buy LEGO at US MSRP Prices (including 10% off PO
No idea, but usually takes 2-3 weeks. I hope my package does not get lost from the Canada Post strike.. Yeah, their '5-11 days' expired yesterday and still no package. Called Canada Post this morning and they said I have to contact B&N but, B&N were the ones who told me to contact CP...and ...

Re: Which Minifigures Display Box do you use?
Oh, I firmly believe they WERE 'thinking ahead', which is exactly WHY it only has room for 15 figs...that way, you have to buy more than one! Personally, I like the clear, stackable units that were shown on Eurobricks a short while back. Kinda pricey for a large minifig collection, though. I know, ...

I wait for the games to go on sale and then pick them up for 'parts packs'.

Re: Open box anxiety
I probably have about two dozen, or so, un-opened sets...but, it's not because I don't WANT to open them, or that I'm keeping them for selling/trading at a later date, it's just that I either a) haven't had time to build them, or b) don't have the space to put the finished model just yet. Once I ge...

Re: Experience with LEGO Customer service
I'm not sure how they can make their set packages any better, really. I'm just amazed at the lengths some criminals will go for their LEGO fix. Oh...but, you DID remind me of another point I brought up to the CSR that will be passed-along to "the powers that be": also at Walmart, they had...

Re: 2011 LEGO Kingdoms
I love the new Kingdoms sets and I hope TRU will have them on sale soon...preferably for MORE than just 20% off. Their 'tiered discount' would be nice, with 25% (or better, 30%!) off a purchase of three or more sets. I'm thinking that multiples of the smaller sets will definitely find their way hom...

Re: Which Minifigures Display Box do you use?
I saw the carrying case at ehe Lego Store this week so it is available. I think Lego wasn't thinking ahead b/c it only has 15 slots and each CMF series has 16. We haven't found a display case we like as of yet either. I swear I saw a website that had pics from some toy show (NY, maybe?) that...

Re: New LEGO Calendar Set???
Haven't seen the calendar yet but, I've noticed quite a few series one PARTS in the BaM bins. Yet another option...though here in Canada, it's a pricey option ($12.99 for three figs). Ouch.clock4me wrote:Good way to get series 1 minifigure. Anyone found them at lego stores yet?

Those look great!
The Tac sword's really nice.
The retro ray gun actually reminds me of an old toy 'ray gun' I had as a kid. Might have to pick up a couple just for the sake of nostalgia.

Re: LEGO Sort and Store Heads
I'm going to have to get in touch with "Lisa The Toy Whiz" at Mastermind Toys and see if they have any of the 'variant' heads, because I'd MUCH rather have one of those than just the plain ol' boring 'smiley'.

Re: First Target stores in Canada opens 2013
I'll only get excited about this if three things happen: 1) better pricing than Zeller's had...something to provide REAL competition for Walmart 2) stocks the 'Target exclusive' LEGO polybags that the USA always gets 3) has a better selection of LEGO than Zeller's usually had If those three things ...

Re: Experience with LEGO Customer service
There's "help" and there's "OMG, these folks are fantastic!" My wife bought a set at Walmart..."Knight's Showdown". I already had it but, it was on for a good price and she knew I wanted more of the Kingdoms minifigs. She held on to it for about a month, then surprised...

Re: [WORLD] Buy LEGO at US MSRP Prices (including 10% off PO
Does anyone happen to know where B&N ships Canadian orders from? East coast? West coast? Detroit/Windsor border? Just trying to figure out a timeline for how long this order is actually going to take to arrive. B&N says "5-11 business days", which actually means "over two wee...

Re: Experience with LEGO Customer service
I really think Lego cares about its customers, which is refreshing  LEGO will bend over backwards for you when it comes to customers. People can point to a lot of things as to why they stick with LEGO (Brand recognition, high quality products) but this is probably the one that people should ca...
