Re: [Contest] LEGO Avengers Contest
I was all excited, until I saw I had to build something better than every other entry. Sadly I am not that good of a builder, nor do I have any avengers mini-figs. It will be nice to see what others build though.

That is really cool. I like how it moves like a real ride would. If you got better matching bricks, I wonder how it would do if submitted...

Re: Stolen/missing minifigures from online order? (Toys R Us
Seems to me that maybe TRU took a return and didn't notice it had been resealed, or the store didn't mark as opened. It then was sent back to a main TRU shipping point. They then thought it was new and sent it out. Hopefully if a customer did the initial pilfering, they will know which customer. I a...

Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Now Pick A Model!
The binder is a great idea in theory, in practice when the store is busy and there are only so many employees then it will become a mess. In practice? In reality it increased their sales already. If the store is busy, and there are only so many employees, how is this different than a customer that ...

Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Now Pick A Model!
They said they submitted the idea, what ever that means. I also hope by posting it here, people will suggest the to their local store. That binder made my day. I got four pieces I didn't know they had, and I had been really wanting. I was tempted to fill two large buckets. BTW In case they ask, this...

Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Now Pick A Model!
I checked out a different Lego store today. They told me that four days ago Lego sent an email changing policy. The old policy was no model bricks in the bucket. The new policy is you can, but it is up to the store how they did it. This store now had the policy that for some model bricks you could o...

Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Now Pick A Model!
I don't really see this as a bad thing. In fact I may hit the LEGO store at least once a month now. Yes they have lost 6 spaces that could be filled with bricks (at least in my store), but now we should see regular change out of 10+ elements on the wall. I was happy to get a cup of the brown slope ...

Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Now Pick A Model!
I went to the lego store today. You can use the pieces from pick a model to fill up your cup. You cannot use just 1 piece to fill your entire cup as no one will be able to build the model anymore, if that piece runs out soon. But the employee said, there is just no way for us to police, how much on...

Agreed. After all, if they were good, why limit it to only customers that can visit a Lego store?Brick & Blue wrote:Iff they were interesting then why not put it in a box and sell it?lordoflego wrote:So far I agree that it's a bad idea because we are loosing PaB space but what will we think when the sets become interesting....

Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Now Pick A Model!
They cut the Pick a Brick wall in half, they won't sell K2 boxes any more, seems they are sending a message. The brick wall used to be my favorite. I bought the boxed models to go with things I could get from the wall. I loved working on MOCs by combining these two ways of getting bricks. Without th...

Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Now Pick A Model!
$7 for that? Pass. $5. Still a huge pass for me as well. I think the small box creators are better. If people didn't know what to build with the brick wall, Lego should have just sold an idea book with the common items on the brick wall. Edit (Opps, noticed you are in Canada, so I guess it might be...

Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Kits?
Sadly this is not a April Fools day joke. They really did do this. It is called Pick a Model, and it is $4.99 for each little model. They had small models like airplane, and others. You get a plastic clam shell thing you put the parts in. You can NOT use those parts in the pick a brick buckets. I se...

Basic Set of just plates?
My idea is that Lego should sell basic sets of mostly plates. I.e. 1x4, 1x6, 2x3, 2x4, 2x6, etc. Right now Lego sells Basic Brick sets. These mostly have the normal bricks. The idea is you can build what ever you want from those sets. But most of the model kits they sell, like Star Wars, Creator, Ni...
