Star Wars Galaxy Edge is a new land park being opened at Disneyland Resort California and DisneyWorld Resort Florida. The new theme park will feature two attractions. This includes Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run and Star Wars Rise of the Resistance. There are also additional features including lightsaber workshop, droid depot, Star Wars Dining and Shop and more. This is pretty exciting as there’s now a themed world for Star Wars. Very exciting new for Star Wars fans! See below for the different opening dates for Disneyland California and Disneyworld Florida.
Disneyland Resort California
- From May 31-June 23, 2019, access to the theme park is limited to guests that are staying at one of the 3 Disneyland Resort Hotels – you can get a reservation (one reservation per guest) to enter Star Wars Galaxy Edge. Note that this in in addition to the regular theme park admission ticket that is needed.
- Beginning June 24, 2019, no reservation is required and access is available to everyone that has regular theme park admission ticket
Disneyworld Resort Florida
- Star Wars Galaxy Edge opens August 29, 2019. However, access to there may be limited depending on guest demand
- Star Wars Galaxy Edge is included in Extra Magic Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, From September 1 to November 2, 2019, Extra Magic Hours benefit is available every morning at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Guests of Disney Resort hotels and other hotels
