Here is the front of the box packaging. It is branded in the 18+/Adults Welcome Black color packaging. It has the usual specifications like set number, pieces and recommended age. It has a rebel logo icon on the name of the set.
The back of the box shows the other side of the lightsaber as well as measurements for the set. It also has a movie scene image of Luke holding onto his blue lightsaber.
The top of the box shows the actual size for one of the LEGO pieces in the set.

Dumping out the contents, you get two bags of pieces. They are numbered one and two for the different builds. You also get a small instructions booklet. Unfortunately, ours came a little bent.
Collector LEGO sets as well as 18+ sets usually feature a brief storyline of how the LEGO set is related to the movie. There’s a page in the instructions telling you about Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber.
The instructions tells you clearly what each bag of pieces build.
Here is bag 1 pieces sorted out. Its really nice that you get an plaque piece that is a printed piece. Yes, you read that right! Its not stickers. The LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber words are printed directly onto the piece.

Overall Thoughts
18+ LEGO Star Wars 40483 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber Hilt Handle is a collector’s item. This is not really a set that you play with but is meant for display. You had to purchase the expensive LEGO Star Wars 75313 UCS AT-AT Walker in order to get it. Price for that set is expensive as it cost $799.99 USD / $949.99 CAD / £699.99 GBP / $1299.99 AUD. It took us about 30 minutes to unbox, sort and build the set. The LEGO Star Wars 40483 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber had no stickers which was really nice. The info plaque is printed which can sometimes be rare as LEGO like to use stickers. Overall, a nice collector item.
From November 26-29 (Black Friday & Cyber Monday Weekend 2021), LEGO Shop at Home (USA | Canada | UK | Australia) offered the 18+ LEGO Star Wars 40483 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber with purchase of the 18+ LEGO Star Wars 75313 AT-AT Walker Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) 2021 set.
Unfortunately, if you want this set now, you will probably have to resort to secondary markets. They are currently going for about ~$130 USD / $170 CAD right now in other marketplaces.
