Why a windmill, haven't all the sets been battle scenes?

Maybe it's a Don Quixote homage?

It's part of the civilian medieval series. Second one after MMV. The later half should feature more dragon knights centric sets. But they are still the baddies. Heard trolls are making a comeback.

People are comparing it to Medieval Market Village, which also wasn't a battle scene. It was more of a large 'collectors edition' set that fit into the Castle theme, perhaps as a backdrop for one of the smaller 'battle scenes', but could also stand alone.

No one has as far as I know. It seems strange that we have info about pretty much every other line but this one. It worries me a bit since there are only a few sets out for Kingdoms. Surely it wouldn't be discontinued already?

We've been avid Lego Star Wars collectors and now we're moving into Lego Kingdoms. I'd love to see more sets in 2011.

My 8 year old son and I are the same. Love star wars lego's and are into kingdom/ castle legos also. The only kingdom set he doesn't have is the kings castle. I'm hoping he can get it for Christmas. Can't wait to see what is going to come out in 2011.

FYI - King's Castle on sale for $85 at Toy's R Us right now, add on an add'l 10% Cash Back if you're a member of the TRU Rewards program, effectively making it $76.50.

From the 2011 Retail Catalog for January, there is no current evidence that the theme will continue. LEGO has a habit of dropping themes, not necessarily for bad reasons, but they just end. It may come back in April 2011, but it's a nice theme-although I think the Fantasy Era (2007-2009) completely overshadows it.

If it's true that they are discontinuing the series, that would be absolutely terrible news. My son (as well as me) will be so disappointed. I would hate it if they didn't continue some kind of castle/kingdom/fantasy series. Have the kingdom sales been bad? I have no way of knowing.

Funny. I was just reading about this on the Eurobricks site. One of the members there went to a "brickevent" and saw for the kingdom series a medieval windmill with new paint on animals, grey horse, and white pigs.

At least that's hopefully something we can look forward to. There isn't hardly anyone who thinks that Lego switched from castle to Kingdoms only to end it immediately.

Kingdoms is my favorite line, I'd really hate to see it go away.
