nice! somewhat expected that. i think i made the suggestion of a cinema b4, something similar to the los angeles Grauman's Chinese Theatre. but i think the new modular is more like the palace theater instead of the chinese theater, which is still nice though. can't wait to see some pics.

Nice, I'm stoked for this. It will give my Town Plan Cinema some competition!
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Nooooooo! Please slow down LEGO! Throwing Haunted House and Arkham Asylum in the mix with the yearly modulars it too much for my bank account!

Will it be a corner piece replacing the Grand Emporium?

Either way, the Town Plan cinema is going down and will declare bankruptcy. Hope you have some extra brown plates to board it up.

I've read that it's listing for 129.99 euros. I'm really curious when we will see pictures. :)

I want a modular police station. The city police stations are nice but more kid and play friendly.

Lego can only avoid the obvious for so long. Though if you follow the pattern, we're due for a corner building in 2014, which isn't usually a police station.

Don't see the point of this since we have a pretty nice cinema already with Town Plan.

But it's good for new collectors, who don't want to pay high prices for a retired set. :)

The Town Plan isn't Modular scale, tho...

Doesn't the town plan also have a Town Hall?

I guess I'd just prefer something new, like a library or museum or video arcade.

I want one that has A customizable marquee that actually runs on treads that moves?
Or maybe LED or fiber optic lights spot lights?
Maybe a Clark Gable and Vivian Leigh mini-figures going down a red carpet ?
or a Stars Wars Triple feature with some 501 storm troopers extras...

What year is it in the town Lego is producing with the Modular buildings? The buildings mostly resemble the 1930s era of construction, and the fire truck from FB is definitely a turn of the century type of design. So that would leave us with a movie premiere from the 30s. I wonder if Lego would name a movie, or make something up.

I'm casting my entry into the pool for "Gone with the Brick".
