make sure to pick up one more to sell on bricklink in 6 months so you get your own set for free ;)
Heh, you think it will be that much of a hot-ticket item? What was the original price of Winter Toy Shop? It's sold for between $66 and $115 in the past six months.

Suggested retail price was 59.99, so at 115 that's a 55$ profit. (brickset for 10199)

Yeah, but at $66 that's $6.01 profit... but I rounded up a couple fractions of a cent! ;)

Beautiful set. I wish LEGO would release more seasonal themed sets. I imagine an autumn/fall set would be absolutely beautiful. Plus we'd probably get some nice plant colors.

Do you guys think lego will make the price higher for this set considering how well the toy shop sold?

That does not seem to be what Lego does. I am guessing this set will be 59.99$ (us) just like the toy shop. Or maybe even 49.99 because it has less pieces.

I just hope they release the winter toy shop again. Piece it together with the bakery and it would be a perfect winter christmas scene.

No but assume $60-$80 as the possible range. It will most likely end up being the mean between those two.

I really don't think the price will be that high. 10199 (last years holiday set) has 815 pieces and is MSRP 59.99, which comes down to 7.4 cents per piece. I am going to assume that since they are both Holiday sets that Lego will want to keep them somewhat evenly priced. 10216 (this years holiday set) has 687 pieces at 7.4 cents a piece that would be around 50$ and change. My assumption would be the price will be between that 50$ and the 59.99 that the toy shop cost.

The $55 price tag is reasonable and what I was expecting. Good set and good price. Thumbs up.

However, it is not reasonable for CA $74.99. :(
