I really can't wait for these! Has there been a release date announced yet? I think I heard sometime in August during Toy Fair.

This may be a silly question, but any chance that train can be easily modified with n motor to run on lego train tracks? Or, are the wheels the wrong spacing.

A motorized train with ghosts under a black light would be awesome

The only sets from this theme that are any good are:

LEGO 9468 Castle - $99.99
LEGO 9463 Werewolf - $19.99

The rest have good prices but arn't that interesting.

I don't know how you can't find the ghost train interesting. The last time they did something like that was with the Time travelers theme.

I'm pretty happy with the theme overall and I'm glad to get some more varied monsters. Here's to you, creature from the Black Lagoon!

LEGO 9465 Zombies from Monster Fighters

Post by Toys N Bricks » Mon May 14, 2012 2:27 pm

A Polish LEGO Blog has revealed pictures of the upcoming Monster Fighters 2012 LEGO The Zombies Set. Contains 4 minfigures, 3 of which are zombies. There's also a new Monster Fighters polybag coming out known as 30201 Ghost. Quite a nice little addition to your Monster Fighters collection! (via Brickset)

That Ghost Polybag is freaking awesome! I'll definatley be picking up a couple of those!

And the Zombie set is still looking great. I just wish we know to whom it was an exclusive to.

That ghost and clock is hands down the most successful of the Monsters sets... I mean in evoking classic horror motifs... what a gorgeous little clock.

I so can't wait to start finding these sets. Probably the line I'm most thrilled about his year and that is saying something with DC, Marvel, and LotR all coming out too!

I hope this line is very successful and we can get even more monsters. I'd love to see Nessie and Bigfoot made eventually. So many possibilites with this line!

And I really want to know more about the Haunted House too!
