What do you think? This is the Paris thingy...

Could be an authentic picture of the set... I dunno.

No way in hell would they give that much brick for $70.00, especially in the Architecture line. If I'm wrong, I'm buying 6 of them at least :-D

I'd be a bit surprised if that is the final picture. It is not in Adam's style, nor has the name plate to it. I'd agree, alot of pieces for the architecture line at the price point.

They are finally getting there! La Villa Savoye and the Eames House were staples during my Architectural education in college. Being a Le Corbusier fan this is going to be a day one purchase for me. Here's hoping for more Case Study models as well.

The villa Savoy and the Eames house are awesome!
I cannot wait for them to be readily available. I will get them for sure.

Oddly enough I'm taking intro to Architecture to finish up my undegrad. These are some pretty prominent buildings.

so apparently B and N made a mistake, and the Eames House is actually not going to be a set (or so Adam Reed Tucker says). He answered a question about it today at the Master model Builder competition in Chicago

It wouldn't have been B&N making a mistake...I mean, it's not like they just randomly create product listings for things they think will someday exist. LEGO obviously informed them about the product, and then later decided to scrap it.

On a side note, I wish B&N would relist the Sydney Opera House, now that it's available. It's one of the March sets I need along with Town Hall and Logging Truck, but no way in heck am I paying LEGO $50 CAD for a 270-piece set that I could finish in under an hour.

Adam said that it was originally on the list, and somehow B and N got that list before it was the list was final.

This could mean that the Eames house will be coming out, just not at that number, all the way to it won't be coming out at all.

The question asked to him that caused this comment was: are you or the other architecture guy doing villa savoye and the eames house?
