We've finally got news for the upcoming LEGO 8804 Collectable Minifigures! Below is a translation of the Series 4 minifigures from a
Dutch site.
*Adjustments have been made to the original translation to make it easier for you to understand.
A series of 16 new minifigures! Each minifigure is in a special bag so you can't tell which minifigure is inside. Each minifigure has its own accessories, baseplate and collector booklet. These minifigures have been inspired by movies, sports, history and everyday life.
Here are the 16 minifigures included: The Monster, Surfing Girl, Sailor, Kimono Girl, Punk, Viking, Speed Skater, Hockey Player, Skateboarder, Man in Safety Suit, Musketeer, Werewolf, Artist, Mad Professor, Football Player and Garden Gnome.

Nice - the werewolf, punk and 'mad professor' (mad scientist?) had been predicted by multiple people, glad to see it happen. I wonder what 'The Monster' means - Frankenstein's Monster, perhaps?
'Footballer' (soccer player, I'd imagine, to those on this side of the pond), hockey player, and speed skater make sense to go along with the downhill skier from CMFs2 and the tennis and baseball players from CMFs3.
Viking, musketeer, and 'Kimono Girl' as well as 'sailor' sound like a great ideas to continue the historic sub-theme.
Surfer girl is cool. "Man in safety suit" - I wonder whether it will be a HazMat suit or something different. Artist could be neat, especially if it comes with a printed 2x4 tile w/painting on it. Garden Gnome? Hrm... okay... but skateboarder? Again?

I want these before series 3! These seems so much better.
@Vynsane, nearly positive it is going to be Frankenstein, given the other minifigures in the set. People always seem to forget that he is Frankenstein's 'monster.' Frankenstein is the doctor.
I can honestly say I'm stoked for everyone in this set except for the skateboarder. Seriously, they had one in the first series! The skateboard is probably going to be the same color too...

The CMFs4 seems to be more appealing to me than the line up of CMFs3. The monster, werewolf, mad professor, the viking, surfing girl, kimono girl and man in safety suit seem to be the more appealing minifigs in this series. The punk makes me wonder if he is going to show up with some crazy Japanese style looking hair like Cloud from FF7.

Viking! My GF will be pleased with that one. The Kimono Girl can accompany the Samurai from CMF3. Will the Musketeeer have a musket or a sword? :) Seems like theres a lot of sports oriented figures in this release.

was looking at list again.
noticed it contained skateboarder.
why would they make another skateboarder?
unless it is a female.

I like this list more than series three. I do like that they will be completely random instead of having a barcode list to go along with them. For some reason that makes me enjoy it more...

Thought the same thing. Maybe he got professional since series 1. J/k Maybe a girl, but the rest look wicked.

I completely agree with you sir - Series 3 has a few items/figures that I will look forward to getting, but I won't be killing myself to get everything! Whereas Series 4 seems very promising! I'm very excited to see what these figures look like - I think we'll be getting some great accessories with these guys!
Thanks for the news Ice!

That would be awesome! Printed pads on the legs and a new goalie helmet and stick. Unless they want all the goalies to look like Dominic Hasek, Chris Osgood or Ken Wregget. I doubt they'd make a blocker or a glove though. Where can I find a white base plate?!

See, I'm once again disheartened by the lack of any sci-fi types! They could've swapped out the cyborg or alien from CMFs3 for one of the CMFs4 offerings to even it out a bit.

i hope that everyone here knows that these minifigures might change, and that if they do i don't think that some people like it when every one wastes two pages or more just because a minifigure like the hockey player is cut.

It's funny, as just today I was dreaming about the day when Lego finally produces official skate elements rather than the ugly tooth piece.
Now it seems we'll be getting them in the hockey player and speed skater! :D "The man in the safety suit" sounds odd though. Perhaps some shiny silver suit? :?
Series 4 sounds just as good, if not better than Series 1. I guess though, we can't really properly judge until the pics are released!

It's not all a loss though. There will probably be more series in the future and there will probably be more Sci Fi themed ones. They've pretty well exhausted the monsters theme.
