30256 Chima Iceklaw at TRU

Post by phantasmo33 » Fri Feb 27, 2015 5:35 pm

Found a bunch of these at my local TRU today. They had just been put out. Went to pay for one at the register and an alert popped up that it could not be sold until March 1. The manager was cool and did an override so I was able to get it. $4.49

These are great sets. Easy to construct, they look neat, and those clear blue pieces will be great in other tech-y builds.

I've seen them at the TRUs in Northborough, MA and Framingham, MA.

Starting today they are free with a $30 purchase, according the the weekly ad.

*confirmed, I went through the line twice, buying half-price clearance Galaxy Quest sets to get the 30256 Chima set free each time.

Isn't this the same one at Target for $3.99?

I haven't seen this at Target. The only Chima set I've found there is Worriz' Fire Bike.

Yeah I'm sure these are same ones that have been out at Target since around late 2014 -they're up front near the check out lanes. However the price maybe the same $4.99 as well not sure since I really didn't pick up this or the fire bike one which never went on sale down here they just move them to the check out lanes and kept the price the same.
