Picked up a couple Dol Guldur ambushes for $8 each while travelling. They had a Monster Fighters train set but it was still $79 =\

If I put clearance legos on layaway and then I pick up on like for example December 10.... Will they give me the new clearance price or the old price? I am taking the risk and I just put some legos on layaway and I expect them to drop in price.

Already had the Barge so left it behind. Cragger's Command Ship is retired now so grabbed that too.

Worriz Combat Lair for $29. Best one I've found so far. It was in Escanaba, MI. I picked up 2 of them for bricks and they had three more on the shelf.
They also had the Chima Gorrila set (forget the name) for $29. Many other sets on the clearance shelf but none of the other prices really stood out.

None of the stores really discount things save for one that consistently marks down sets, over the past few weeks I have found sets for great prices:

Ha ha, George didn't seem to be very popular.. Guess that's why they scraped him so quickly.

But I admit I was surprised to see him, lego never lasts long on clearance around here, but the clearance sticker did say the last markdown was in 2013... (I did scan it just to see if it was really cheeper, but no luck)

noticed the city race car at $7 in a local Walmart, no sticker but it scanned as clearance.
Also found a beat to heck shellraser, I was exited until i scanned it and it came up for $49.
I left it to rot.

Went to a walmart that the product locator said had several unexpected gathering and lots of castle, so I made the drive only to be disappointed by no discounts whatsoever and no castle or LOTR..
