Wal-Mart Black Friday Ad

Post by Brickbuilder0937 » Thu Nov 08, 2012 5:44 am

I just got an e-mail from Wal-Mart with a link to their Black Friday ad. The only LEGO I saw were these 650 piece sets. These sets will go on sale 8pm Thanksgiving day*.

*This was my local ad so the time that the sale starts could be different for other Wal-marts.

I'll probably pick one up...though I was hoping for the 1600 piece box that they had last year

I'll likely get 1 for each kid, & maybe a few for birthday party gifts. Any idea on set# or parts list yet?

I just saw a scan of the Kmart ad and it showed Monster Fighters and Hero Factory, buy 1 get 1 50% off. Not an amazing deal, but could be up to 25% off if you get 2 same priced items. Plus they do not jack up the msrp.

I went back and looked again and noticed that it also includes City as well, opening up even more possibilities.
Maybe I will start a new topic with a Kmart header.

I picked up a $15 Lego Creative Building kit -while there aren't that many speciality pieces - the kit is a good deal since at 650 pieces - the average cost per pieces comes out to be about 2.3 cents per piece!

I have seen these in the wild at more than one location (Inland Empire, CA) so if you're hungry for some basic bricks your local Walmart may still have stock left.

I found 3 of them at a local walmart while visiting family around 5pm. Instead of allowance now I am going to pay my kids in bricks. Rake the leaves = 5 bricks Take out the trash = 3 bricks and so on....
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

They have a bundle of 3315 Olivia's House and 3188 Heartlake Vet for $79 online right now, works out to about 28% off:

I went Thursday night a little before 8 and looked for the Duplo set. I finally ended up asking a manager where they might be and was told they didn't receive their shipment of Lego for the sale. So the minimum two per store became zero. The good part was I finished my shopping before 8pm and they cashed me out with all of the sale prices-in and out in about a half hour.
