That pretty much sums it up being one of those clueless resellers by the pricing and stuff they offer. F.I. indeed.
Back on the topic, Ninjago as a theme have lost some steam being off air for a year while Chima is doing the opposite. And I do see a lot of overstocks on these sets still in stores, so eventually they will go on clearance in stores. Depends on the store, we will be looking at 20-50% right off the bat when they need to clear room for the next waves.

Just got an email saying that the NinjaCopter order has been delayed because they've run out of stock. It says items that are delayed by more than 28 days will be cancelled, but gave no indication of if that will happen with this order.

I was at a local Walmart, and the price on the shelf for the Kai Fighter was still 24.99.
Does anyone know if retail stores price-match their own website?
I had kids with me, and to be honest, didn't really care to give this a whril... but would be good to know for future reference.

Guys, just go there with proof, whether hardcopy or device with internet access. Walk on over to customer service - they will should match. Got two this way. Also a big YMMV depending on CSR.

You got lucky, like you said, it all come down to the CSR\manager. They are not supose to price match their own website or other Walmart stores.

One of my local Walmarts would not match the price as it's a Clearance price. Hit or miss, just find someone that doesn't care and you should be good.

They did price match when I recently tried it. So ya, depends on the manager at the time you do it.

Kai fighter gone again, must be related to the shortage thing. Did I mention how GREAT a deal ALL these sets were? Everyone should start buying everything whenever they go on sale even at 10-30% off. Start your cars and head to ALL the stores, or start clicking till your fingers bleed. Walmart thankyou.

I went to Royal oak in Calgary looking for the start wars clearance corporate tank (no stock I could see). They had a bunch of copters and fighters that I saw. I picked up a fighter for myself. It wasn't a problem to price match their website.

If this is a knock on the other poster that called you out in the independent stores thread, great one

Just got an email from Walmart.ca saying they ran out of items in my order of the 70721 Kai Fighter. They are trying to locate more stocks (hopefully they will have more stocks later, then it will be available online again). Or if they couldn't get more from Lego, which means Kai Fighter is retired soon??? But doubt it as it's a 2014 set (started selling on Dec 1, 2013) and it has such a short lift span.

No, no, I am simply starting to see the light and encourage people to do so. What is best for business really.
