Finally made it out to all 4 K-Marts in the Columbus area. 2 of the 4 had items on clearance.

8897 Jagged Jaws Reef $9.00
8076 Deep Sea Striker $8.50
7147 XPlode $5.00
7148 Meltdown $5.00
3178 Seaplane $4.00
7947 Prison Tower Rescue $18.50
Star Wars Battle Packs $5.00

I was really hoping to find and only buy a couple of 4841 Hogwarts Express $30 for train MOCs, but grab a few of everything listed except the SW Battle Packs to make it worth the drive around town. If your in the Columbus area I wouldn't waste your time unless your looking for SW Battle Packs or Jagged Jaws Reef. This has been the only time I've actually found clearance items at K-Mart when posted here in the forums. Thanks for sharing. If anyone in Ohio finds a a bunch of 4841 Hogwarts Express for $30 still at their local K-Mart please let me know.

Stopped by my local Sears Grand tonight because they're affiliated with Kmart. They only had Ben10 and Toy Story Train on clearance and I don't think it was 50% off. I think the train was $39, not sure because I wasn't interested but it was definitely on clearance.

So you might want to check there if you have any locally. Maybe call first.

I wish I saw the HP train. Trains are awesome.

It varies per store what sets are on sale. I got the deep sea striker for $8.50 and the buzz lightyear set for $11, which is a really badly designed ship. They also had the little yellow Toy Story truck for $7.50, but I bought it last time this sale happened.

Yes the one in westlake. You should probably try calling first and save gas. I wasn't interested in the trains so I did not look closely. I think they had at least two of these and they were on a clearance shelf towards the left side of the toy dept, not in with the other lego. I did not see anything else on clearance.

I'm in the St. Louis area. I hit 5 today and here was my score:

8897 - World Racers Jagged Jaw Reef @7.00 (bought two, left 5)
8898 - World Racers Wreckage Road @ 9.50 (bought the Two I found)
8089 - Hoth Wampa Cave @ 15.00 (bought the two I found)
3178 - Sea Plane @ 5.50 (bought 5 left aver a dozen)

Many of the stores has places for Hogwarts Express and the Burrow, but were sold out, others had them at full price. Saw no tower rescues on clearance also saw some Wampa Caves at full price.

Does anyone know whether other sets will be added to the clearance if they are not already listed in certain stores? I found two stores within 10 miles of each other, one had the Hogwarts Express sols out at $30 and the other had it at full price. Just wondering if I should check back. Anyone know?

Just found a few small sets at my local K-mart. Got 2 SW rebel battle packs for $4.50 each. Seaplane for $4.50 and the little red sports car (8402) set for $4.00. They had a slot for the Wampa Cave but that was empty. They had a prison rescue set but it was still full price (How dare them?!). They had they hero factory dropship for $18.50 but I wasn't interested in that. I think there were also 2 toy story sets also. Lotsa's dump truck was $7.50. I can't remember the other one. I was hoping to find the HP train or some larger set but I take what I can get.

I went today, and found nothing on clearance. I was really hoping to get the Wampa Cave for 15 bucks. :(

My Kmarts don't have much anymore, I DO happen to have a Kmart closing near me, so they are blanket discounting everything. Only 25% off currently, and not really a 'great deal' ... really only had PQ and HP $10 sets... Interested in the PQ ones only cuz of the new motorcycle included... when it hits 50% Ill prolly go nab them.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

For those in the Atlanta area, the Kmart on Cleveland Ave SW has a bunch of sets on sale but many are not in the clearance section or marked as on sale (I used the scanner to check which ones were on sale). My haul from today included:

7279 Police minifig collection @ $3.50 (bought one, didn't find any others)
3181 Passenger plane @ $15.00 (bought one, three left)
7307 Flying mummy attack @ $7.50 (bought one, 2-3 left)
2260 Ice dragon attack @ $7.50 (bought one, 2-3 left)
7913 Clone trooper BP @ $4.50 (bought two, 2-3 left)
7914 Mandalorian BP @ $4.50 (bought one, 8 or so left)

Also on sale but I didn't purchase any:
3179 Sea plane @ $4.50, 10+ left
8076 Sea bed striker @ $7.50 I think, 15+ left
7978 Angler attack @ $7.50, 8-10 left
4736 Freeing Dobby @ $4.50, 15+ left
4191 Captain's cabin @ 4.40, 2-3 left

No Wampa cave or Tower Rescue (this was the set I was hoping to find). Happy hunting.

Seems like it ended. :( I went today after getting back from vacation and stuff was more expensive. There were a few sales like Ice Dragon and Flying Mummy Attack for $15, but after it was half of that last week, I can't justify paying the price for it. I guess I'll wait and save money.

K-mart has another "additional 50% off all clearance toys" sale this week. If your K-mart didn't have clearance items last week check again this week, my local store had almost no LEGO on sale last week but today sets like Grievous' star fighter, battle packs and hoth cave were about 62.5% off.

How do people find out about the Kmart clearance?

I do not get a Kmart ad and when I looked online, I didn't see the 50% off advertised anywhere.

Was wondering if this round may be regional.

This is active in my area. Picked up Prison Tower Rescue for $18.50 + tax today. Hoth Wampa for $15.

I did not see the ad, but found out when I was at the store to return another item. Second store in the area had the Prison Tower marked for full price, but scanned at the $18.50

The additional 50% clearance is usually only advertised in store.
