Found a lone Lego City Police Watercraft (30227) polybag for 75 cents.
Still waiting for this particular WalMart to drop their clearance prices again. They are sitting on piles of Chima, City and a few TMNT and Ultra Agents sets, but are only at about 20-30% off. I spoke to a very helpful manager who told me that her store had reached their clearance limits for the month and prices would not drop again until next month, if at all. She said each store is different and they are not able to price match other stores clearance prices, despite my turning on the Lego charm. Blast!

Got very lucky with a $20 Benny's Spaceship. One end of the box was taped up but the customer service guy let me open the box and inspect the bags...everything was there. Score!

GREAT deals at Wal Mart tonight!
I buy Lego at Wally World when the discounts are too good to pass up! Tonight I purchased 2 boxes on the clearance isle. I may go back and get the other. I just don't know if I would use the bricks or not. But the price may be too good to pass up!
I got a one item that is 'sold out' on the Lego website. I also got another item that is MIB from my local Goodwill for $15 that is also on sale at Wally World.
I picked up for $30 the sold out 4203 Excavator Transport normally priced $39.97. I also got 79116 TMNT set Big Rig Snow Getaway for $40 and normally priced at $69.97.
The one I didn't purchase because I don't know what I would use the parts for is 79121 TMNT turtle sub. Normally priced at $59.97 is on clearance for $25. At that price who cares! So I may go back and get it.
They also have some Chima sets marked down but not by much. Give some time and I'm sure they too will be deeply discounted.
The Ninjago is the one I got at Goodwill. It's now marked down to $64.
Happy hunting!

Congrats. In the future you may want to check out this thread or the YMMV section in general. LEGO clearances tend to happen after Christmas and right before summer when LEGO introduces it's new sets.

I bought TMNT chamber set for $13 and the UFO TMNT set for $17.
Re: Walmart winter/spring clearance 2015
I went to the Brooklyn, CT Walmart tonight and found the last five clearance sets in the Lego aisle. They were turned sideways near the end on the bottom shelf. I believe one of them was a $35 Milano (I scanned it) but now I am doubting myself because the box looked so small next to Benny's Spaceship (gone now). If you've been looking for a Milano I'm pretty sure I saw one there tonight.

Re: Walmart winter/spring clearance 2015
Walmart, walmart, walmart.
Originally bought a Benny Spaceship for $74 a month ago then found one for $49. The $49 one was opened and missing the instructions. Instead of returning the opened one on the $74 receipt I thought I'd be nice and call LEGO to get the instructions and returned the unopened one. Can't blame them after what happened to me with the T-Rawket but this was the first time I saw an employee open the box to check content. So they opened it, taped it back up AND it's back to full price in all the systems. Wasted all my effort being nice.

I was going to call LEGO about the Milano I got missing the small ship and all the mini figures, but I was so pissed at Walmart I just returned the thing and sent a nasty email. It's really not worth being nice with Walmart, they are clueless.videriant wrote:Walmart, walmart, walmart.

Re: Walmart winter/spring clearance 2015
Back to my Wal Mart, missed out picking up that TMNT set for $25 BUT I grabbed the other TMNT set Big Rig Snow Getaway for $40 (saving $30) and a set I wanted but was too expensive compared to other City sets, Arctic Base Camp for $70 (saving $20).
Had I purchased from Lego I would have received $15 in VIP credit versus saving $50 tonight with an overall savings of $35 (50-15=35).
I don't normally purchase Lego sets until October when it's double VIP points. Then spend the required $100 in November for the 'free' Christmas set. I'm beginning to think it would be cheaper to just purchase that set on eBay.
I was disappointed last year when Lego didn't do the triple points again. They weren't very clear in Nov. about the double VIP points a week before Brick Friday weekend And I hated the sets that were put on sale for that event.
What have I learned? Be patient. Purchase Exclusives only when it's double VIP points and keep my fingers crossed the sets I really want get put on the clearance isle.

Re: Walmart winter/spring clearance 2015
After reading some of the posts in this thread I realized I needed to check everything I bought from walmart recently to make sure the boxes were not tampered with.
Sure enough--a Malibu mansion set I bought a few weeks ago on clearance looked a bit suspicious with the tape job on closer inspection... I opened it up and the instructions are inside in good condition, along with 3 bags of parts--but the bags have all been re-taped down the sides--minifigs are all missing and the stickers have all been applied (poorly, I might add). Can't tell if all the parts are otherwise accounted for...
Definitely not looking forward to having to return this to Walmart. Hopefully it will be a smooth return and I can convince them not to re-tape it and sell it to someone else without a disclaimer on it about missing pieces...
