LEGO Bricktober 2014 Mini Modular Sets (40180 40181 40182 40183)

The LEGO.com customer service instructions page has revealed this year's Bricktober 2014 sets! This year, instead of the minifigure magnets, they will be offering something new and that would be the popular modular buildings in miniature size. However, these are smaller than the 10230 Mini Modulars set so they're not compatible. These will be exclusive to Toys R Us and like previous years, you probably would have to spend a certain amount at their store before getting one of the sets. (via neoape)

For sure we have to spend minium of $50 or more. These mini build are not big, and if you have extras pieces from sets build before, I would suggest, save your money and build it yourself. Unless they have 50% off on their overstock sets, this will be yet another disappointing Bricktober.

These are actually cute little sets. I was never interested in the figure packs they had in the past but these may actually tempt me. I'd be surprised if they did less than $99 minimum purchase on them.

Maybe I am reading into this too much. But 3 of the 4 minis look like they have been released on a larger scale as modulars..

The pizza shop is not similar to any modular that has been released. Could this be a hint at the next modular building?

It is somewhat similar to the pizza shop in the old City Corner (7641) set.

I saw 40181 on the shelf today at a local TRU.
