[MOC] Lego Tarzan

Post by InfectiousZombie » Sun Sep 19, 2010 12:04 am

Just a little MOC I made today, first one i have posted anywhere. I like the Jungle Explorers from series 2 minifigs and they reminded me of the Disney Tarzan, so here it is! Thanks for looking!

HA, nice - although I might have used the Popstar's hair for Tarzan. Really cool vignette.

When I started out I was just thinking of the old tv show so the hair seemed okay. Had 3 of the same looking explorers so the disney Tarzan idea came when I tried to make them look different lol. I put the pop star hair on this morning, definitely better! I'll take some pictures later!

The adventurers are looking funny from using different heads at CMfs. Unfortunately, the color tone of Tarzan's leg is not matching to surfer's body. Have you ever try with the leg of caveman from CMS1?

Ooups. My bad. I just realize leg of caveman has been used on Tarzan.

Haha you had me confused for a moment because that's totally what he did use. I think it's pretty good. The colors technically match I'd say because the the yellows are the same. Only the orange detailing is different but nothing would ever really 'match' it.

At first, I got confused from looking at the image of Tarzan (the last posted image). It seems to me that the color tones are different between the body and leg.
