The fighter doesn't look any different than the 2007 version. :/ also I hope those are two "security" droids not "safety" :D per the site description.andrewqwy wrote:Spotted this:

When will these become available for pre-order and when will these begin to show up at retail?

7877 Naboo Starfighter Star Wars Picture
The new Lego Naboo Starfighter (7877) set out in summer. A little disappointed cause it looks just like the last one. http://www.mikado-spieleland.de/index.php?a=228" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Wow this is disappointing I have the last one and was looking for some variety.
Re: 7877 Naboo Starfighter Star Wars Picture
Ya, I'm not a fan, its not really that iconic of a vehicle to me, especially since that whole space battle in episode one was just lame.

At least now we'll have a naboo pilot that looks like the one in the movie.

Is it just me or do they not release any cheap star wars sets anymore? Most of these are $60+

The ewok and dathomir sets are just under $30 but I see what you mean. The battle packs have crept up to $12+ each.legitimatealex wrote:Is it just me or do they not release any cheap star wars sets anymore? Most of these are $60+

Re: 2011 LEGO Star Wars (Summer)
I know that with more pieces you can do more stuff and make cooler ships but honestly I haven't bought a Star Wars set in a few months because there are no small ones that I can be content with. I have to shell $50+ to get anything decent. The license is one of the most popular ones but jacking up the prices isn't going to encourage me to buy the newer sets.koromo wrote:The ewok and dathomir sets are just under $30 but I see what you mean. Re: 2011 LEGO Star Wars (Summer)
When do you all think these sets will start to be released? The new sets that have come out lately have been ahead of schedule. Might we expect something similar? Are we looking at June or will these be farther off than that? My son is really anxious for the falcon and frigate. Other than telling him "sometime this summer" I'd like to narrow it down a little more.
