A YouTube Video showcasing 9 LEGO Friends 2012 summer sets has surfaced online. Thanks to the video we now have most of the set names and numbers for these upcoming LEGO Friends wave 2 sets. Looks like there will be 3 types of advent calendars to choose from in 2012 (City, SW, and Friends)

A Friends advent calendar? Now THAT is something I'm looking forward to. Hopefully 2012's City advent calendar will be better than 2011's.

Can't get much worse.

The sea plane set looks interesting.
The boat set has a sand castle that's pretty neat.
Can never have too many campers.
The house is insane.

LEGO was not lying when they said they were dedicated to this line. No other theme except City sees this many different sets in a year. To have an Advent Calendar for any new theme in its first year is incredible.

I wish I had these sets as a kid. My female neighbors and sister just wanted to play Barbies, but I just wanted to play LEGO. 3 vs 1, we played Barbies 95% of the time. This might have been a good compromise.

Anyone else see all the summer sets on the Heartlake City poster?
I like how LEGO hid them in plain site.

I'm glad to see all the girls in what appear to be promo sets. I'm kind of intrigued by them all but even if I just buy the smallest sets at $10 each, I still have to dedicate $50 to it.

Ooh, I'll have to check Target soon...mine still did not have an area that looked remotely like Valentines last week.

I know most know this, but I thought I'd note it here for future reference, this is definitely set 30105 Stephanie's mailbox.

I hope they have another Friends poly at Target for Easter. ;-)

I also noticed that they skipped # 30104 in the sequence. 30100 through 30105 was used.

Picture for 7 of the upcoming LEGO Friends Summer 2012 sets have surfaced from The Daily Brick. We've included the box art picture here, but if you prefer to view them without the box art, you can check out their site. No official pictures or signs of the 3937 Olivia's Speedboat (probably a limited edition set) and 3316 Friends Advent Calendar 2012 yet. (via Brickset)

The Camper and Horse Trailer SUV are incredibly similar to 2009 sets. The SUV looks very similar, minus a roof or rear window and the trailer part is an exactly duplicate merely in different colors. My daughter has both of the 2009 sets but will want the Friends versions, which will make me feel a bit raked over the coals.

They're getting a lot of use out of the new bucket and basket pieces I see. I agree with Vynsane, quite a few of these sets seem to be rehashed City sets with new colors, not that I'm complaining because I thought they were kind of boring when they first got released for the City line way back when.

When the instructions for 3184 Adventure Camper come out, I'd like to make a City theme version similar to 7639!

While looking at B&N online, I found a picture of the Friends Brickmaster set...scheduled to release October 15, 2012.

(I know it's not "summer" in October, but it didn't seem necessary for a new thread)
