Great images! I'm a little bummed that the 3rd zombie in the zombie set is the same as the chauffeur on the hearse set but you can't win em all. The castle looks like a fun build and some great detail on the ghost train as well.

Just an FYI, TRU finally has some of these sets as available for in store pick up. That way you can at least check if your store has them in stock without having to make a trip there to check!

And I don't know about the rest of you, but I've got a 20% off coupon an entire purchase of $75 or more from TRU, so even with the mark ups on these, they will be below retail with that coupon! Thankfully they aren't LotR overpriced so its actually a deal! I just hope my stores get them in this week before the coupon expires!

That moonstone with the zombie lego arm coming out of the ground made my day.

Btw, so there are how many moonstones? 7? 8? It seems that the zombie moonstone is throwing it all off. I'm confused.

It looks like there are 7 total. Six of them go around the outside and can turn inwards. Perhaps the seventh zombie moonstone goes in the center stud perpendicular to the others? I like how you get all of the moonstones in the castle set except the zombie one.

But that's just my guess. It is odd to have extra moonstones. It just means the odds are in favor of the Monsters uncovering enough to turn day into darkness forever!

Yeah, that is really odd they didn't really include the Zombie moonstone in their planning. I guess it being an exclusive and all is to blame. I just hope there will be more Monster sets after this first batch, with or without the moonstone storyline.

After looking at the high-res pics, I am really digging the designs of all the vehicles! They've got a lot of character and personality that is very fitting with this theme, and they use some really nice parts and colors, particularly the car that's in the Vampire Castle set.

And just like everyone else, I'm definitely going to pick up a few of those Ghost polys!

Yeah, the vehicles have a nice style to them. I wouldn't call them steampunk, but they are kinda in the same vein as that. This is by far their most creative, original line in a long time!

Is that a new pearl gold fez in the pith helmet guy's sniper rifle? Awesome!
Also, is the bottom skid of that helicopter some new piece? It doesn't look familiar.

The bottom of the small helicopter has skis for skids. Bricklink
I hope this is the piece you were referring to.

I'm interested to see how the levers are attached to the same helicopter.

And on the "ghost sucker" or whatever that upside down assembly (cool little design there) on the plane wing is... new pearl gold boat stud!
LEGO is definitely giving MOCers some parts love with the MF theme.

The off-green colored leaves on the werewolf tree have caught my eye for MOCs. I'm always looking out for plant pieces for landscapes.

Dangit, I think you're right... in proximity to the other gold parts there, it struck me as gold at first, but...
heck, it really should have been gold, when you look at the color scheme of that whole section. Arrgh.
