The Heroica theme will be a subtheme of LEGO Games. It was present at the 2011 toyfair (Eurobricks of course).

Of course, I'm pretty certain that there are not stats or special dice (so it couldn't be like D&D), but it's a very interesting idea. I hope that it turns out to be a good one.

I see a LOT of weapons from each game (in fact, a full array of excellent ones, including many newer molds), as well as many 2x2 jumper plates in new colors. There appears to be a new door piece (although this could just be the old grille for the window). The dice look quite interesting-they have double-thingies and could prove very useful in other things.

I have sworn to completely collect two many themes this year (Pharaoh's Quest, Alien Conquest)-but I will swear that I must get these-the adventurer inside of me wants it!

I'm a bit dissapointed about the builds, but I guess that will save money. And these are prelims I think (since they're ToyFair)

When I first saw it, I thought it was something like Lord of the Rings.

I won't claim that the Brickipedia article has any info, but it has many useful links (credits to CJC/Kingcjc) Here

I'm thinking LEGO D&D as well, although I think they should try and make this a little more special with some more unique molds, because right now I think I could recreate most of this myself.

Other than the dice, figs, helmet, and weapons. That's what I'm going to buy if for.

I'll pick them up for the same reason I pick up every other Lego set, parts.

I'm not really seeing anything too special about the parts though. What's attracting you to these sets?

All those 2x2 jumpers, microfigs, and other assorted things. Besides, you can never have too many pieces.

Found this on Flickr today.

That must have been scanned from the lego club magazine.

I picked up the Caverns of Nathuz set the other day in the big TRU BOGO50% sale. I got to play it today with my six year old nephew and eight year old niece. It's not bad, there are a few minor holes in the rules that were fixed on the fly. We didn't finish due to lack of time, but it was fun and I'll play it again.
