Just a friendly reminder that the LEGO Store in Wauwatosa, WI will be having its grand opening this weekend! The T-shirt and minifigure set will be unique and exclusive to only this store. On the other hand, the store set will be available in other grand opening stores. However, it is in very high demand so we highly recommend that you head there at least an hour early before opening on Saturday (the earlier the better).

This month’s mini model build is a LEGO tulip! The event is Tuesday, May 1st, beginning at 5pm at your local LEGO Brand Store. Event is open to children aged 6-14 and only while supplies last. This is a FREE event and no purchase is necessary.

Next month during May, there will be four LEGO Brand stores that will be having their grand openings. In addition to their free T-shirts, limited edition minifigure set (3 pack) and events tradition, it appears that they will also be offering an exclusive LEGO model. From the looks of it, it appears to be a mini LEGO Brand Store set! Please note that each promotion are on separate dates (i.e minifigure promotion is not on the same day as the model promotion).

On Thursday, March 15, LEGO Brand Stores in United States, Canada and United Kingdom will be having a fun little event for St. Patrick’s Day. If you can find the “LEGO 4-Leaf Clover” (Shamrock) at the LEGO Store, you can get some suprise savings! You can also enter a draw for your chance to win your own “LEGO Pot of Gold” (US and Canada only).
Last year’s suprise savings was $5 off $25. What could it be this year? Happy St.Patrick’s Day and good luck!

This has not really been publicized much by LEGO, but don’t forget there is a FREE mini-build at the LEGO Brand Stores this Monday March 12 and Tuesday March 13th where children aged 6 to 14 can build a LEGO Friends Ice Cream Stand! The event starts at 5PM in the US/CAN and 4PM in the UK.

The LEGO Store is holding an Ultimate Spinjitzu Tournament beginning on February 6th at 5PM. Put your skills to the test and be the first to knock your opponent’s weapons out of his hands. The winning ninjas from each round will battle until there is one winner per day at each store. The daily winners will receive a LEGO Ninjago Battle Arena to take home. They will be invited to come back and compete in the Utimate Spinjitzu Finals on Friday, February 17. The grand prize winner will receive a Destiny’s Bounty set and will be named Master of Spinjitzu!
Plus, visit the store during the Finals for special offers and prizes.

There will be an event at TRU on Saturday, February 4th from 12-2 PM to launch the new Friends line. Children will be able to build a cute lemonade stand (FREE). The LEGO Group will donate $1 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for each lemonade stand built. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation raises money to to support the fight against childhood cancers.
