After about a week of teaser images and videos, early in the wee hours this morning (at least for those of us in North America) a new post was published on the LEGO Ideas blog featuring the full video unveiling of LEGO Ideas set #007, 21109 “Exo-Suit”:
Featuring a female and male astronaut, each in green spacesuits (for the first time ever) as well as one of Peter Reid’s signature M364 “Turtle” robots in addition to the Exo-Suit itself, this is the first-ever LEGO Ideas set produced that is completely free of intellectual property. All other sets that have previously been produced are based on either real-world scientific exploration craft, a video game or a movie.
No other details are yet available, but speculation is that the price will be $34.99/£29.99. Brickset also has an image taken from the revised instructions for 21108 “Ghostbusters” that inadvertently revealed the design.
